Monica's POV

"Would you like to.... Um...." Shawn said hesitant

"Shawn just spit it out don't be nervous" I said putting my hand on his shoulder

"Oh...um would you like to do a cover with me for my youtube channel?" He asked

"Sure what song" I asked with a smile

"Wait really your down" he asked shocked

"Yes Shawn" I said with a slight laugh

"Okay and how about summertime sadness" he asked

"Didn't you already do that one?" I asked

"Yah but I want to make another one with you" he said while grabbing a water bottle

"All right sounds awesome" I said

"Okay ima go set up I'll be back" he said

"Wait don't come one I'll show you something you'll probably like" I said

"Hey can we come" Jack j asked

"Yah come on" I said and only Shawn, the Jacks, Hayes, and Aaron followed the rest stayed in the living room

"The laundry room?" Aaron asked and I laughed and shook my head

"No hang on" I said and pulled on a string from the ceiling and a ladder came down

"An attic?" Shawn asked

"But wait there's more come on" I said and I climbed up the latter to reveal a little recording studio that had almost everything a normal studio had it was just a smaller version

"Woah this is awesome!" Jack G said

"It's amazing" Shawn said

"Yah It took years of begging for all this stuff because this use to be a storage room when we had my great grandma'a stuff from when she pasted away seven years ago" I said smiling at how amazed the boys were

"Okay well let me go get the camera" Shawn said

"It cool we can use mine" I said and I set it up and we started

"Hey guys what's up! I'm here with Monica Saldaña! Say hi" he said with a smile

"Hola" I said laughing

"Alright well I hope you guys enjoy this cover! Love you guys!" He said and he started to play the strings (a/n: let's pretend Monica has tori Kelly's voice!)

Shawn ended the song and we stopped recording

"holy crap that was amazing what the hell was that" Taylor said coming in

"What?" I said playing dumb because I knew he was talking about the whistle tone

"You fucking did the whistle tone!" he said with his eyes wide open and I just laughed and we went down to the living room

"You sounded amazing" Hayes said and gave me a hug

"You guys heard me" I said while blushing

"Yah it was great" Cameron said smiling

"Thanks" I said with a smile

"You can play the guitar right?" Shawn asked

"Play us something" Jack J said

"Um... I don't really know I haven't played since......" I said looking down

" since what?" Jack G asked

"Since my uncle past away a year ago he taught me how to play" I said with a slight smile

"Just give it a try here" Shawn sad giving me his guitar

"Uhh I don't think so sorry" I said playing with my thumbs

"Please"

"Please"

All the boys were pleading

" okay okay fine but hang on" I said and went to my room

Cameron's POV

Monica went to her room to get her guitar it's been a long time since I've heard her play

"Where is she going?" Aaron asked

"To get her guitar" I replied

"She has one?" Shawn asked

"Yup" I said and Monica came back with her purple and black guitar that had a smooth glitter that was on the sides with the black

"Oh my god that's such a beautiful guitar" Shawn said

"Thanks my uncle the one that past away actually bought me this" she said while going to sit on a chair and she began to play life of the party
