at least be friends?

Taylor signed the papers and the two managers wished Finn and Taylor farewell and left the office. Taylor sighed and put her head in her hands. Finn cleared his throat and she popped up hoping he didn't feel offended at her stressed exterior.

"I'm sorry I should have told them to wait before I signed the papers we could have done it together-" The boy started to apologize and move his hands around, which was something he did when he meant what he was saying or nervous, at this moment he was feeling both, "It's okay. I understand the money and everything is appealing-" he shook his head "No, actually that's not the reason I signed those papers."

She looked at him and blinked a couple times, he sighed and continued, " I've just seen you perform and your amazing and I was hoping we could, you know at least be friends?" She smiled and nodded at him and they both got up and back onto the elevator.

Before they stepped back out Finn got a glance of the people still lingering outside and pulled Taylor back around the corner.

"Wha- what's-" he cut her off, "There's still people out there should we like...hold hands or?" She gasped and his head snapped up as if he was in trouble, "Are you asking to hold my hand Mr.Finnard" she giggled. He looked at her with a sour face and eventually cracked a little smile, "Alright, come on" He grabbed her hand and they walked towards the doors.

As the couple walked outside they group started to form again and Finn was pushing through it a little better than Taylor usually does, she was grateful he was.

In the middle of the tugging and shoving though, Taylor's hand slipped from Finn's and he immediately turned around, "Taylor?" She could hear very well as they all were shouting Finn and Taylor's names. Taylor reached her hand in the air and Finn noticed her red nail polish and grabbed it. He pushed people out of the way and grabbed Taylor and held her close.

The two finally got to the car and a security guy opened the door and Finn lightly pushed her in the car and then got in himself as the man closed the door.

"Thank you so much, Finn" He grabbed a water bottle and chugged hit as she stared at him and laughed to herself. He looked over to her with wide eyes. "Hm?" He asked since he was still a little shook up from the crowd. "Sorry, I forgot your not used to that." She apologized.

He only shook his head. "Wanna get pizza?" She looked at him and smiled. "Are you asking me and a date Finn Wolfhard?" He looked at her and smirked "Do you want it to be a date Taylor Cassidy" She had the widest smile "I wouldn't mind it." He looked at her.

"Then it's a date."
