Chapter 2: Whisper

I woke up on my bed and I checked the clock on my table, it was already night time. I went downstairs and the dinner has already been set on the table.

"How are you feeling son?" My father asks who was working on his laptop by the table.

I suddenly remembered what happened I started getting chills all over my body. I started controlling my breathing and *Inhales... * *Exhales... *

"Our driver was there when it happened so he was able to rush and help you get home but he had some problems with a friend of yours thinking you were gonna get kidnapped and kept asking for some proof . He had no idea how to prove himself and how he's related to you so he had to call me and I have to come personally. Next time start telling your friends who your driver is so I don't have to get bothered during my work." My father explained and then picked up his laptop and went to his room.

I ate my dinner alone and went to my room and read some of our books at school to have some ideas on the topics that will be discussed later. I took a shower after I rest a bit and went right to sleep.

In the morning I was woked up by my alarm. I prepared to go to school and ate my break fast as soon as I got up. My driver already got my car ready outside when I was done so we were able to go to our school early but on the way he told me "I'm so sorry Hyunjun but your father told me to pick you up as soon as your classes are done, he would be checking the cctvs at home if we already got back soon or else I'll be in trouble." while I can hear voice feels like he doesn't feel good about it.

"Were you already there yesterday when I fainted?" I asked.

"Yes, I was already there before you got out but noticed you were with a friend so I didn't approach you to bring you home yet but I rushed as soon as I saw you fainted." he replied and I can hear that he sounded when he talked about me being with a friend but his tone went down when talked about me fainting and sighing at the end.

When we got to my school as soon as I got out of the car, I saw Seunghwan standing by the gate waving both of his hands to me with a bright smile. I did a small wave to him and his bright smile made me smile too as I approach him.

"I thought you wouldn't know where our school gym is so I waited for you" Seunghwan said without his smile fading away.

"I didn't know" I replied as I scratch the back of my neck.

"Oh, our opening ceremonies normally happens at the first day of school but our Principal's flight here from overseas was delayed so they had to move the opening ceremony a day later." Seunghwan explains as we walk to the school gym.

When we got in, we went to our classes line and stood there as we wait for the ceremony to start. The Principal started the speech and also apologize for delaying the ceremony and just said stuffs about the starting of schools, I really can't focus because Runa and Shaun who are in front of me are bickering in whisper. After that we went straight to our classes and nothing much happened during those classes.

Its break time and I went outside waiting for Seunghwan to pass by but its been 10 minutes and he's still not coming when Runa and Shaun came to tell me "Oh Hyunjun, Seunghwan is waiting for you at the cafeteria. He told us to tell you to come meet him there." I thanked them and went straight to the cafeteria right after they told me that Seunghwan is already there.

As soon as I enter the cafeteria, I heard my name and looked the way my name was coming from. It was Seunghwan shouting he was waving at me with his bright smiles again. I went to where he was and sat in front of him.

"I haven't eaten yet because I want to eat with you." Seunghwan said while handing me over the snacks he bought.

"These jumeokbap has different flavor from other jumeokbaps you've eaten in your whole life, try it." Seunghwan explains as he started picking it up with his chopsticks it and took a bite right after he explained so I also took a bite and... Whoah I can't explain it, its just a jumeokbap but its so delicious and tastes so unique.
