I'm sure many of you thought I was dead and never updating but surprise !!! How are you all!?!?!?

I know people who were up to date have probably forgotten what's happening in this book so no pressure about commenting or reading or voting. I'm posting because I felt inspired to write again and for whoever decides to re-read the book, there'll be more to read.

I'm still not sure if I'll be consistent with updating but we shall take what we can get. Credits to A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas for getting my creative juices flowing. Check out this series guys it is TOP TIER!

Apologies for the beginning of this chapter, idk if y'all like the political drama of this fic since there's usually a mix of it and relationship drama but there hasn't been that much of the latter yet. Lots of exciting things to come though, we just always have to get through the tedious conversations!

Again, I would highly recommend re-reading the recap in order to understand the finer details of this chapter such as the names of the cities, Kingdoms, royal family members etc. mostly because it's not a chapter about just Reina and Harry so.

Unsure if I've ever shown you what Kirsten Mikkelson looks like but here she is! Played by Rachel Skarsten from Reign 💝

Excuse any errors thank youuuuu

"I think they want us to meet them on the abandoned island."

A frown came upon every single person's face in the room when Harry read out the rest of the letter from the Messians, detailing their conditions for meeting with the King and Queen. The abandoned island was an island that was situated in the sea in between Khidos and Caunwaiton, that was often passed by when travelling back and forth from both countries.

"Did they say why?" Reina questioned, pursing her lips.

"No, they didn't. They just said they're willing to meet but it has to be on sea, and they've outlined a certain number of guards we are allowed to bring," Harry also frowned deeply, slightly annoyed.

"Who are they to tell us how many guards we're allowed to bring?" Declan exclaimed with a tight scowl.

"I think it's because they know they'd be vulnerable if they came to Siremeth and vice versa. To be equal, both parties would bring a certain number of troops to the deserted island for protection and hold the meeting on grounds neither of us own," Reyes pointed out to the rest of the people in the room. "I think that's fair."

Louis scoffed a little, earning the King and Queen's attention before he spoke up, "did they outline any conditions for the meeting? Any hints about what they'll demand from us?"
