Before the current war humanity has against the disease and a group known as Evolved humanity was at a huge war with each other, it is rumored that in the middle of this war. one of the sides involved managed to develop a biological weapon that would become the predecessor of the evolved disease.
The aftermath of the usage of this Biological weapon is the birth of the Evolved, a new species of mutated humans that have superhuman capabilities, but most of the victims of the evolved diseases usually turned into mindless brutes that will attack and infect anything on sight instead of gaining superhuman powers.
Not long after the birth of The Evolved humanity quickly united to combat the threat that might bring an end of the human race, in humanity struggle to fight the evolved a new organization hellbent on eradicating humanity's threat was formed, this organization now known as Biogen has become humanity's frontier against the evolved.
