The next day, Maya had gotten a call from one of her best friends, Aisha, asking if she wanted to hang out. Not being able to say no to the girl, she obviously said yes. She loved Aisha. The girl was very smart and had very cool hair. The way she looked, as well as her smarts did get her bullied but, at least she had Maya by her side to protect her and just in general. As of right now, the girls were sitting in Maya’s room playing multiple games, as of right now, they were playing uno after they had played cards against humanity and sorry splash mountain edition.
“So you met this cute guy, who’s name is Miguel which reminds me of the show Maya and Miguel, got his name and yet you never got his number?” Aisha said as she put down a red plus two card.
The longer curly haired hair rolled her eyes and sighed, “Ugh, Ash, I know. I should have gotten it. He was kind of cute in a nerdy way.”
“Yes, My-My I know. You’ve been saying that for the better part of an hour.” Aisha jokes. Both girls laughed.
“I don't find you funny.” Maya said with the smile still on her face as she hit Aisha’s arm.
Aisha laughs, “That smile and laugh says otherwise.”
Maya glanced at her cards and saw a blue and yellow plus two and decided to stack them. “That enough proof for you?” Maya smirked smugly at the short haired girl.
Aisha gaped at the two cards her best friend had put down. She looked at the stack and back at her cards. She glared at Maya, “You’re a bitch for that.”
Maya laughed, “You play the game or the game plays you, hon. Now, pick up six.”
“That’s unfair.” Aisha protested.
“Life’s unfair. You put down a plus two and I put down two plus two’s. Suck it, sweetheart.” Maya laughed.
Aisha laughed, “You’re so ruthless playing uno.”
Maya shrugged, “You gotta be ruthless in Uno. It's the only way to survive. In the game and in life.”
