Chapter one

Elena's P.O.V

Dear journal,
Today's going to be different, I'm going have a smile on my face and say I'm okay and mean it. It's time to forget the bad stuff that's happened and remember the memories now.
Elena

I walk out the door into the UK April air and start walking down the footpath. I'm meeting my brother Dean at Starbuckets, he wanted to talk about something but I don't know why.

After about 10 minutes of walking I finally arrive at Starbuckets, I walk in looking around for Dean when I see a familiar hand go up in the air.

I walk over to where that hand was to see Dean," I didn't know what you wanted so I didn't get you anything," he said.

"That's alright I didn't want anything anyway," I replied. We sat in silent a for a while until I spoke up," so what did you wanna tell me?" I asked.

"Oh yeah well um I'm leaving," he said playing with his keys on the table.

I just stare at him for a sec to see if he was joking or not," hahahahahahahaha, omg good one but seriously what did you want to talk about?" I asked again being serious.

" I'm not lying, I'm leaving the UK and going to America and to be honest I don't think I'm going to come back," he said looking at me dead in the eyes.

The only thing I could think of was that he's leaving, my big and only brother is leaving me and may never return, after everything we have been through for the last couple of months he's gonna leave!! I was so angry with him but I didn't wanna tell him.

"Okay," was all I simple said, not a why would you do this to me or your the worst I hate you, it was just okay.

"Are you okay?" he ask, I nod. "Okay well I'm leaving tomorrow and also Evie is coming with me," he added.

I knew it, that sneaky bitch. She always tells him what to do and where to go, he does everything for her and she does nothing. If your wondering who Evie is, she Deans annoying, controlling, bitchy girlfriend who I hate so much.

"So if you wanna you me and Evie can hang-" I interrupted him," have a nice life Dean, see when/if you every come back," I say then I get out of my chair, kiss his cheek and left.

I start walking back home, after our fights he would usually come after me and we would sort things out. I go back to see if he was there and of course he's with her, I don't waste anymore time and start to head home.

A/N.Okay guys so I'm official starting the book!!! I'm sorry I haven't started it yet I've been really busy with packing and moving and stuff like that, I'm so pumped and ready to write(lol never thought I would write that hahaha!) So I hope you enjoy the book!!
