Savanna's investogators

Do you ever find that leave your house you are wearing a gold ring and only now have you noticed that it is no longer occupying that space on your finger. You suppose it must've just slipped off, but more than likely it will have had something to do with Savanna. Savanna was just a seventeen year old girl. But the amount of things she had done in her small lifetime were probably substantially more than the amount of things a SEVENTY year old person will have done in their long existence.

The gang found themselves with the name "da Rebels ". It was not the most creative name but the gang hadn't exactly chosen it. A large number of people knew about "da rebels" and the members, Kate, Jayden and Dylan but no, one that the gang was aware of knew about Savanna. They'd managed to keep Savanna a secret from the public. This of course worked in their favour because citizens were always on the look out for gangs. However no one expected a teenaged girl with perfect blonde hair with a little pink handbag to be the real trouble causer.

Savanna wasn't always in the gang though. She had got in the gang because it was her only choice. Whilst on holiday ,with her parents ,Savanna got lost, and after a few days, although she was perfectly healthy, was listed as dead. No one knew why the investogators hadn't looked in to the matter more closely. Surely if they had done this they would have found that I fact Savanna was not dead. It was a mystery to all. Savanna met the gang by mistake. She was about to ask if they could give her directions but realised that they were talking about plans to rob places. The gang gave her a choice, either to take a drug which will make her forget everything she just heard, or the choice Savanna preferred much more, which was to stay with the gang.The reason she had chosen this option was simply because she had never been close with her family, and had never gotten any friends. So Savanna saw no reason to go back to her parents.

The change between her old life style and her current one could not be more different. Savanna was a very glamorous girly girl but had always kept to herself. Now though Savanna was robbing people blind. Causing distractions etc.

Everything was normal on the twenty seventh day of may until...

"Sav? Sav is that you?" Savanna turned around to see that the question had come from a brown haired girl, who looked about Savanna's age. Oh no she thought, as she suddenly remembered the girl. She was Savanna's only friend at one point. Over time they had slowly drifted apart. But that wasn't the problem. The problem was that Savanna was supposedly dead! Savanna just froze ,she didn't know what to say.

"Y....y..your meant to be dead. I m.. Mean..." But just when Sav thought things couldn't get worse, Naomi's mother appeared behind Naomi. Her mother said the same sort of thing.

"Oh my god. No. No it can't be..."

"Look"Sav had managed to find her voice "I've erm... I've got to go" Sav started to walk away but not before she heard Naomi say..

"It is you. It has to be you. But why..."

"I dunno what your talking about" Sav replied

" why d'ya do it Sav?" Naomi cried out.

"It wasn't planned. It just... Kinda happened." But then Naomi started going on about Savanna's mum and Dad. The words triggered something in her memory. She realised she hadn't thought about them since...that day. She couldn't just leave.

Next thing you know Savanna is in the car with Naomi and her mum, on the jway back to her old home. What am I doing, she thought. But she knew that there was no going back now.

She saw her parents. For the first time in over a year. They looked so old, when in fact they could only be a year older than last time she saw them.

She was in her old living room. It was exactly the same as she remembered it, but a lot less tidy. Her Dad couldn't control his emotions well enough to come back into the living room to see his newly found daughter. So it was just Savanna and her mum. Savanna told her mum everything. They cried together for awhile. Butthen Savanna's mum asked a question that Savanna would also have liked to know the answer to.

" why did the investigators say you we're dead?"her mum said " they seemed pretty nice to me. A bit secretive, but I suppose that's their job really"

"Ye" Sav said " there's something going on. They must have known I was alive. But I just don't know why they would do it." There was a long pause." I have to go mum. I have to find out what's going on"

"But Sav we've just got you back"

"I know I'm sorry mum, I just have to do this" her mum nodded.

"Sav?"

"Ye?"

" you've changed" I smiled when she said this.

"Thanks mum" Savanna said. And then without another word she strode out of her house confident and determined to find out what was going on.
