I walked into the Student Council room, followed by my peerage.
Sona: Eko, you're here. Thank you for coming on short notice.
Eko: Anything for you, Sona. Why'd you need all of us?
Sona gestured towards the board, where there was a picture tacked up. It was a fallen angel with ten wings, long black hair, red eyes, and pointed ears.
Eko: Who is that?
Sona: A fallen angel named Kokabiel. He was one of the Grigori during the Great War, and he intends to start another one. He's apparently on his way here.
Eko: How long do we have before he-
There was a loud explosion as something appeared in front of the school.
Eko: Okay, not long.
Sona: I've put up a barrier around the school, so the town won't be hurt by our battle.
I nodded walking towards the door. My peerage followed as her eyes widened.
Sona: W-where are you going?
Eko: To kill Kokabiel.
Sona: We should wait for Rias to get back.
Eko: There's no time for that. If he's here already then we have a very small window before he tries to break out of the barrier.
I blasted open the wall, jumping out onto the ground. In the middle of the field was Kokabiel.
Kokabiel: Ah, the first brave soul who will die by my hand. Which peerage are you from, weakling?
Eko: I serve nobody, Kokabiel.
Lightning boomed overhead as I summoned Tordenjeide.
Kokabiel: Ah, you must be the Lightning Prince! Very well then, I'll start by destroying the ones you love!
He formed a massive light spear, throwing it at the others. Annie stepped in front of them, cutting her hand with her knife. She was engulfed in a bright light, transforming into a titan and catching the spear.
Kokabiel: What? I-it can't be! They were all wiped out during the War! They died along with God and the four Satans!
At this revelation, everyone in Rias and Sona's peerages were shocked, as Asia fell to her knees. Xenovia and Irina looked crushed. However, I was unaffected.
Eko: I could care less. Besides, it seems you missed two of them.
Monsters began charging towards us as Annie threw the spear, annihilating a number of them. Pieck transformed, charging forward. The others began fighting as I flew at Kokabiel, swinging Tordenjeide. He dodged, throwing more giant light spears at me. I easily knocked them aside as I kept walking towards him. He looked almost afraid.
Eko: What's the matter, Kokabiel? You were one of the Grigori, yet now you almost seem... scared!
I rushed at him, leaving a trail of lightning and appearing behind him. I slashed Tordenjeide in an X shape, cutting off four of his wings. He screamed in agony, falling to the ground. He wasn't moving, so I walked towards him to finish him off, but when I got close, his eyes shot open as he lunged at me and stabbed a light spear into my chest. I gasped, stumbling backwards and falling to the ground.
Sona: EKO!
Everyone on the battlefield turned towards me, looking shocked as I lay there with a spear in my gut. Kokabiel turned towards Sona, walking towards her.
