—Alto...

In that moment he has mixed feelings. He wanted to jump to his arms and have a wonderful reunion, but also wanted to hit him for leave him alone. Still was thinking on that when he notice something different.

—Is he... Human? – And just like that, his heart break in two.

He turned around to leave, only giving the order to not mess with the intruder. All the giggling and looks over the blonde just went away, catching his attention. Then he decided to follow the one responsible of that as discreet as he could.

Bright only head to his cabin, when once he arrives he just sit in his sofa and take of his heels. He sighed tired before looking to the painting above the chimney, where it can be seen the couple, happy and in love

—Oh Alto. All this time I was hoping that you would have abandoned us or run away to protect us, but instead you died... Idiot. – He felt the guilt in his chest, because that surely would have happened that night.

Even so, the sound of the door being knocked distracted him of his thoughts. The first thing he do was rotate the painting to hide the protagonists of it and then he got closer but being cautious.

—Who's there? – Asked out loud, but he didn't get an answer, just more knocking.

Still doubting, he opened up ready to defend himself, but there wasn't anyone. Thinking he was paranoid, more than usual, he closed the door, but the knocking started shortly after. He opened again, looking to everything but didn't find something until he looked down and find a little toy bird, who with it's movement knocked on the door. He picked it up, confused, until he understood it's purpose.

He trned around ready to close all the windows, but it was late. In front of him was already that Alpha with the face of his beloved, even with the same Cheshire smile, that right now it was annoying

—Hey.

All the meeting has passed in just ten seconds, and at the eleventh, Alto  shot out of one of the windows, or rather, was thrown out.

—Stay away from me, you perv! – Screamed Jack, closing the curtains, cause he didn't have a window anymore.

—He's too strong for being that small... Where did he get the broom?

Alto just get up and clean all the dust in his clothes, but didn't move an inch. That was something Bright didn't expect, Well, almost an hour later the door opened, but once he noticed the alpha was still there, he entered again and close the door. It was obvious his surprise and panic for his presence.

—Is ok Jack, he'll go very soon. – Tell to himself, but he was wrong.

Tree hours passed and he was still there. Bright, being already annoyed, go out to face him with his broom.

—What do you want? Who are you? What are you looking for?

—That's a lot of questions you have, little one.

—Dare to call me little again, and this time instead of hitting you, I'll impale you.

—I want to see that, little one. – Bright was ready to hit him again with the broom, but instead he raised his free hand and catch a projectile who was heading to his neck.

—Tranquilizers, huh?– Just a hand movement he throw the dart to Cllef, managing to cut it up a bit. —Looks like the witch hunt never ended. – He turned around and entered again in his cabin.

He hardly cared about hiding his magic anymore, since apparently they had already discovered it, so he fixed the broken window and the rest of the night he kept himself locked up. The next morning he went out and was glad to no longer see the intruder there, but surely he would still be in town. He would also have to go to check the damage at night.

He walked to the cafeteria, where upon entering he noticed the intruder there.

—Hello little one. – Jack's only response was to grab a nearby coffee and throw it at his face. —Good thing that was already cold.

—What do you want? – Bright questioned again while he tied his hair.

—You ask too many questions, and I have mine too, you know?

—And what? Do you want to play 20 questions?

—It wouldn't be bad~

—Idiot.

—Is that a yes or no?

—Fine. Go on.

—Hm... I would prefer to go somewhere more private.

—Yo up don't have to worry about that. – He motioned for him to look around. Nobody was paying attention to them, it was like they weren't there.

—Fine, if you say so...

—You doubt too much. If you're not going to start, I will.

—I don't see the problem.

—Perfect. Who do you work for?

—We started strong, huh? – Alto laughed and stole someone else's coffee. —I work for the SCP foundation.

—Sounds boring.

—Not so much. My turn. What are you, beauty? – Alto received another coffee in the face.

—A warlock, or witch. You can use any term you want.

—Witch, I like better.

—Well, what are you looking for here?

—You.

—Excuse me!?

—I forgive you. What are you doing to these people?

—Nothing wrong.

—Doesn't look like "nothing wrong"

—I just hide, I don't hurt anyone like that. Do you plan to get me out of this town even though nothing bad has happened or will happen?

—That will be deducted from your questions.

—Just answer me.

—... Yes. Don't take it the wrong way, these are orders from above.

—What makes you think that I will let myself be captured so easily?

—Such a cheater, it was my turn. – There was no answer. —I've already dealt with beings like you. I practically devour gods for breakfast, a witch is nothing in comparison.

—Ah, you're threatening me.

—Take it more as a warning, Jacky. – For a moment he was scared, until he remembered the badge with his name that he used to work.

—Ugh... Just go away, your face is bothering me.

—Fine, I'll go, but I'll be back sooner than you think.

—Please don't. – Without erasing his annoying smile, Alto left there, although he returned shortly after.

—By the way, I'm Alto Clef.

—I know... – Bright whispered as he watched him leave.

The rest of the day felt heavier than usual. He gave thanks for a moment when night fell and they finally closed, but when he remembered the unfinished business he cursed under his breath and he felt stressed again

He returned to the woods but not to his cabin. When he found an open spot without too many trees he spawned a broom which he climbed on and flew off. He flew over the place being too attentive to every movement and sound, but unfortunately he was unsuccessful.

When morning came, he only warned that he would be late for work, because he decided to try to sleep what he couldn't, and he did. He was so immersed in rest that he didn't notice how intruders came to his forest, making macabre discoveries.

—There's one more here Doctor Clef. – An agent announced to the always annoying doctor, who this time looked serious.

At the top of a tree was a deer, which had been devoured in a grotesque way. And he was not the only one.

They had already found three others, and all with the same modus operandi; ripped open their neck, drank their blood, climbed them to the treetops and proceeded to eat their meat, but avoiding all other organs except the heart.

—I think... We screwed up.
