"We need to tell them." Hyunjin stated.
Haewon was officially out of the hospital as of a week ago. Felix and Hyunjin found a steady rhythm of taking care of the girl and taking her to spend time with all her grandparents, which did in fact include Felix's parents.
They also made sure that the girl had time with her aunts and uncles.
Kayla's older sister was beyond happy about meeting Haewon, considering she didn't even know Kayla was pregnant.
Kayla and her sister didn't exactly get along. The reason becoming apparent when she criticised Kayla for what she had done to Hyunjin.
"I know... 'm just worried about how they will react... I know Kayla's parents are fine with it and your parents are, but our friends, our siblings... And Yuna she is so young..."
Hyunjin wrapped his arms around Felix's waist and pulled him closer, the bath water splashing a little.
"Yuna is seven. Our friends are in their twenties, besides Jeongin, but even then he is what 19? He's out of high school, he lives with Chan, he's dating Seungmin." Hyunjin said.
Felix hummed and bit Hyunjin's arm causing the older to laugh.
"What about Kayla?"
"Kayla has no guardianship with Haewon. She won't even hold Haewon." Hyunjin muttered.
Felix pouted.
"That doesn't mean in the future she won't want that type of stuff..."
"I wouldn't count on her wanting contact... I talked to Myra yesterday, apparently Kayla has a complete aversion to Haewon..." Hyunjin sighed.
Felix's brow knitted together as his pout deepened.
How could someone say that about their kid?
"We can tell them tomorrow..." Felix muttered, getting up and grabbing his towel.
Hyunjin pursed his lips and watched Felix leave the bathroom.
Felix gnawed at his lip as he pulled one of Hyunjin's t-shirts on.
Leaving there room, he walked to Haewon's nursery.
The newborn was supposed to be swaddled in a blanket that Jisung had gotten her, it had squirrels and rabbits on it, but it seemed like she had wiggled out of it.
Felix held the small girl's hand as tears pooled in his eyes.
He didn't think it was fair. Of course, Haewon would have Yeji, Yuna, Chaeryeong, Kayla's sister and even his sister's, but she didn't have her mother.
Instead she had him. It didn't feel fair to him.
Hyunjin stood at the doorway looking at him.
"Lix..." Hyunjin called out softly.
Felix let go of the girl's hand and turned around.
Hyunjin nodded his heading gesturing for them to talk outside.
Letting out a breath he left the room with Hyunjin.
"What's wrong my angel?"
Felix shook his head.
"Nothing."
Hyunjin held Felix's hands and kissed them both.
"Don't lie please... What is wrong?"
Felix sniffled as he looked at the ground.
"It's not fair..." Felix muttered.
"What?"
Felix pulled his hands away and rubbed his eyes trying to stop his emotions from falling.
"This isn't fair to Haewon... I get that she has my sister's, your sister's, and even Kayla's sister, but she doesn't have the one thing she is going to most likely need or want in her life." Felix stated.
"Felix, I don't understand." Hyunjin said confused.
Felix let out a shaky breath and wiped his eyes once again.
"She doesn't have a mom, she has me instead... What kind of bargain is that?" Felix questioned, tears falling faster then he could wipe away.
Hyunjin's mouth opened slightly. That hurt Hyunjin a lot.
How could the younger think so...so little of himself.?
"Stop... Felix, as far as I am concerned, as far as even Kayla's parents are concerned, you are perfect in everyway. Sometimes kids grow up without mom's. I mean Chan, Minho, Ryujin, they all grew up witout their moms, they are fine. Haewon will be no different." Hyunjin said.
"What about she starts going to school?"
Hyunjin knew exactly where the younger was going with this.
"Felix, I know where your mind is going, stop. I understand why you are feeling like this, trust me I understand, I felt like that too, but my angel people will always have their opinions on everything." Hyunjin said.
"I know that, but you should be with some pretty girl." Felix said.
"I don't want some pretty girl. I want you, the person I have been in love with since I was thirteen. I want the boy whom has had my heart for years. The boy who has the best smile and the most beautiful stars on his face."
Felix pouted a little and hugged Hyunjin burying his face in the older's neck.
"I hate you..." Felix muttered.
Hyunjin chuckled a little.
"I love you."
Felix hummed.
"Take me to bed please."
"Anything for my big baby..." Hyunjin chuckled.
Now we just have to deal with tomorrow...
