Ajey's P.O.V:

-"So it's final, right? You're leaving."
A voice spoke whilst I was packing my luggage, as me and my family were going to return back to Faridabad tomorrow morning.

-"Mhm, yes, I have to."
I replied in a helpless voice.

-"But whyyyy?"
She whined, stomping her foot on the ground like a little kid.

-"Change is the law of nature, Trish! Try to understand. And as it is, you will also come back to Delhi next week, won't you? We'll meet again. Your college fest is also approaching."
I tried to make Trishika understand.

-"Ugh, it's still one month away! Plus, we are still 4 days away from the new year. Considering you'll be busy with all your other projects, I won't be able to see you again for atleast a month, Ajey!"
Trish said complaining.

-"Aww, don't worry. A month will pass by with a snap of fingers, okay?"
I mouthed.

-"It won't!"
She reasoned.

-"It will!"
I said again, confidently.

-"Acha, we'll see."
She replied back in the same tone.

I've been here for more than a week now, and as much as I enjoyed staying here and being in her company, my work has been suffering real bad amidst all this.

Well yes, all the functions, including Dr. Aakash's wedding and reception are over now, so there's no point of staying here any longer. Plus, work is suffering real bad amidst all this. Maa has been getting constant calls from her hospital to get back to Faridabad as soon as possible, Yash too has delayed a few projects, Papa's clients are after his life for a meeting and about me, Deepak Bhaiya will eat me up once I return!

And here is Trishika, trying to stop me just by 3 days, so that we can go back together. Yep, my flight is 3 days earlier and yes I can wait for 3 more days, but seems like my family can't. And so, we're leaving tomorrow morning.

-"Okay, if that's the case then I'll be a mature person and will let you go back this time. But remember, Mr. Nagar! The next time we're back in Lucknow, I will not let you leave atleast before 2 weeks, got it?"
Trishika warned me.

-"Got it!"
I replied with a chuckle.

-"Waise, don't you think we have grown a little too close with each other within a week, Ms. Bhardwaj?"
I asked, scooting a little closer to her.

-"I don't know, have we?"
Trishika spoke with innocent eyes.

-"Ha-ha, act innocent. But trust me, you suck at acting!"
I mocked.

-"Arey haa, we have grown a little too close within a week, a little too much! But, it doesn't cause any harm. Infact, I loved every single bit of it."
Trishika accepted.

-"The feelings are terribly mutual, Ms. Bhardwaj!"
I said with a chuckle and she blushed at the closeness we were sharing at the moment.

-"But if we speak technically, then all this wasn't just a week's game. I mean-"
I tried to reason as I stepped a little back.

-"It was more about the time we spent together seventeen years ago."
Trishika interrupted, completing my incomplete sentence.

-"I hate how you know we so well."
I cried looking into her brown orbs deeply.

-"And I love it."
She muttered in a mere whisper.

-"I am so glad you did not forget any of it, Ajey! I really thought you did, but I'm glad you didn't."
Trishika continued.
