A Directioner's Dream/ Nightmare

hi... well this is my first story on here and i don't know if its good or not so please comment or give me some feedback i'd really appreciate it!

-the beginning-

"Lia lets go! You don't want to be late for your first day of school!" My mom calls from the kitchen.

I moan and push the covers off of me and I go to the bathroom and take a shower. I'm not the morning type person like my mom. Ugh. After I put my long brown hair in a braid. "Ugh. I look like Rapunzel." I really need a hair cut but my mom won't let me get one since she thinks my hair looks to pretty when its long and not short. You see I'm nothing compared to my mom but im just like my dad... in some ways. With that I go to my closet and put on a pink t-shirt and a pair of jeans on and walk to my door and open it. I then hear a bark below me and I look down to see my puppy shadow.He's a Golden Retriever and he is only 3 years old and likes to wait outside my door and greet me in the morning. He always cheers me up every morning when I'm grumpy cause like I said I'm not a morning person. I kneel down and pick him up and he licks my face and I laugh.

"well good morning to you too Shadow. You want to go get breakfast?"

He then barks in reply and I smile and pet him feeling his soft gold fur and walk downstairs toward the kitchen. I put him down and walk to the kitchen then as soon as my mom sees me she looks at me and says:

"Well it took you long enough! Breakfast is already on the table. Feed Shadow and then feed yourself. Your going to be late if you don't hurry!" She says as she goes to the stairs and yells to my sister to come down and get breakfast.

I pick up Shadows bowl and pour food and water in it and then set it back down in its spot and then go to the table and start to eat quickly. Right then my sister, Lauren, who looks absolutely nothing like me comes in the kitchen screaming. "MOM! MY HAIR WON'T COME UNTANGLED!"

"THEN COME HERE AND LET ME UNTANGLE IT MISSY INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING AND WAISTING TIME!" My mom yells as she grabs the hair brush and starts brushing Lauren's blonde hair. I put my plate in the sink and grab my bag. I hear my sister whine and think. "Been there. Done that." I've always whined when my mom brushed my hair when it got tangled. It hurt real bad if you don't know the feeling.

"I'm leaving!" I say walking to the door and opening it and then walking out and slamming it quickly behide me.

Before I shut the door I hear my mom yell, "OKAY JUST REMEMBER TO-" I didn't hear anything after that but oh well. I start walking off of my yard and walk towards the bus stop. I then see a girl looking my way with a slight smile on her face. She has brown eyes and blonde hair and looks to be about 5'0 tall. Exactly my height. I don't know her and think she must be new to our school and she puts out her hand once I approach her.

"My name is Emily. I'm new to this school."

I smile and shake her hand and say, "Nice to meet you. I'm Lia and welcome to our school. Your going to love it here and plus it won't be bad since you just got a friend."

I then hear the bus on my left and see it coming around the corner and watch it make its way to us. I cover my ears as it makes the squeaking sound when it stops and I see Emily do the same. The doors of the bus open and I let Emily get on before me. As I step onto the bus I hear my friend Zach calling me over to sit with him and so thats what I do. People think we like like eachother but its not true. I mean yeah we're bestfriends but that doesn't necessarily mean we "like like' eachother. Like come on now!
