With a click the door swung open to the inside, revealing the lobby you had to cross before entering the elevator for a quick ride back up to your apartment. Your body felt sore and empty after a long day of school, filled with entering finished assignments and giving your own opinion about it with a presentation. In front of a good filled classroom. With a groan, you had reached the doors to heaven, only to see the red sign. 'Out of order'. Another groan, louder this time, soon followed the first on its way, showing your discomfort. With slumped shoulders, you shortly lifted your grocery bags hanging on the tips of your fingers to the palm of your hands. Rustling of plastic followed the movement, almost dropping back to the fingertips immediately. There was barely an ounce of strength left in your arms as you made your way over to the only way up. The stairs.
Eleven floors. ELEVEN floors. The thought on its own sounds like pure hell in your physical state. With a deep breath, you sought for new strength to conquer this devil step for step. Of course, the amount of groceries didn't help in your fight. With the extra weight weighing you down, the stairs took extra time, making it seem your heaven, couch and Netflix-account, were miles away.
Voices filled the staircase just when you were halfway there. Even when you were climbing with all your might, the voices became louder and louder. It started to seem like the owners took two steps while you only did one, much to your displeasure. It would seem weak when they would see you struggling like the poor being you were, and just walk you by, leaving you in their shadow of climbing speed. A soft sigh left through your lips after you took a deep breath, taking in as much oxygen as possible. Before you could take another step, however, a voice stopped you mid-air. Heat crept up to cover your cheeks, reddening them even more apart from the exhaustion grabbing your legs and pulling you down.
"Funny meeting you here, instead of your room, (y/n)-ya. Couldn't wait for me anymore?"
The smugness was dripping from his words. The worst of it all is.. it's true. You had been impatient with him for some time as he was busy. After a while, however, you were too and the both of you didn't meet each other for a little game for quite some time. Blood crept ever so slowly to the tips of your ears, showing him how embarrassed you were with his sentence of choice to say 'hello'. Quickly, you turned around to look him in the eye and give him your piece of mind. You weren't going to let him say something like that when someone else was possibly with him, knowing someone was talking earlier. Upon seeing him, however, your mouth dropped open. A blue dress shirt, complimenting his fine chest, his dark jeans keeping his legs hidden for the sight and a bag for his laptop in his right hand, slung over his shoulder. But what kept you fascinated to the core for this man, were his shining eyes, piercing into yours towards the depths of your soul. The small bags filled to the rim with groceries fell to the floor, cans clattering as they dropped.
Law raised a mocking brow as his lips turned into a smirk. He took a step, followed by another until he stood one step under you, watching you at eye-level. He chuckled before he leaned in, his lips almost touching your earlobe as they moved. "Like what you see, my dear?" With a flick of his tong against the lobe, Law retreated, watching you as you gasped softly and turned your orbs to focus somewhere else, too ashamed to look him in the eye.
Lean fingers curled under your chin, lifting it up slightly before warm lips melted against yours, moving only after you pushed against them. You couldn't deny it, you missed the contact these last couple of weeks. His left hand left your chin and moved down over your arm, wandering down your side before resting on your hip. Your own fingers moved up over his stomach and chest, just to leave a soft caress over the base of his neck, wandering up to his hairline. Law's breath shuddered at the contact slightly, his hand wrapping around your middle took have you flush against his form. Fingers curled in his black locks, tugging at them to tell the male to deepen the kiss. Without further ado, Law licked your lower lip, silently complying to your request. In reflex, you parted your lips for him, your tongue ready for the upcoming battle you already knew you won't win. The strong muscle you had felt so many times before, entered your wet cave slowly, carefully caressing the inside and letting you surrender as soon as it was there.
