Sunoo sighed remembering the past."What else have you got to say about me?"
Sunoo jumped from his spot, whipping his head around, to find Sunghoon leaning against the wall next to him. Sunoo caressed his chest, calming his frightened heart, "You scared me you jerk!"
"Did I disrupt your train of thought?" Sunghoon asked cockily.
"What was it again? Stupid Park Sunghoon? Stupid attitude? Stupid handsome face? Wow Kim Sunoo, thanks for admitting I'm good looking, though I already know that." Sunghoon smugly continued.
'Ugh, this is why you're such an ass.' Sunoo thought and rolled his eyes.
"Just go away." Sunoo harshly retorted. Sunoo felt like crying again, 'Do i not look miserable enough already?'
With that, Sunoo stood up and turned his heels to leave
"Sunoo—"
"Just let me be alone okay." Sunoo snapped, voice a little shaky. Then he walked away.
Sunghoon stood rooted, not knowing what to do. He didn't know it would be this bad. He thought he would just find Sunoo, say sorry; maybe throw in some sweet talk and i mean who can resist his face. But Sunoo didn't even give him a chance to do so. Sunghoon didn't think Sunoo would be this sensitive. He sighed and walked back to class for his next lesson.
For the whole day, Sunoo would keep quiet; not uttering a word— not to him at least—even when Sunghoon tried to discuss on a topic their teacher assigned, Sunoo would just turn around to to discuss with the person behind. Sunoo's bright and cheery aura had died down, and the whole atmosphere around them had dulled.
.
.
.Class had ended. Students were scrambling to leave the classroom.
"Sunoo can we please talk." Sunghoon pleaded. But Sunoo ignored him and walked past him, not even glancing at him.
But Sunghoon wanted really wanted to apologize and talk it out with Sunoo. Now. He grabbed Sunoo's wrist and pulled him back. Too close. Sunoo was flustered and took a step back, "what?" he said, brows furrowed.
"Just please hear me out alright." Sunghoon pleaded. Sunoo was exhausted from the long day at school, and all his crying added to that too. Sunghoon's grip on his wrist was quite tight too, he probably won't have the strength to fight back. So, Sunoo nodded and let Sunghoon take him elsewhere.
Sunghoon brought them to the same place as this morning. Sunoo leaned against the brick wall.
"Aren't you gonna let go of me?" Sunoo asked and held up his wrist that Sunghoon was still holding.
Sunghoon shook his head, "Nope." popping the 'p' sound, "You're gonna run away again." Sunoo rolled his eyes (for like the thousandth time in the day), 'Not like i have the energy to do so.'
"Sunoo, look, I'm really sorry for earlier. I didn't mean to make you feel embarrassed. I didn't mean to make you cry. I just wasn't used to having such a bright and loud presence near me." He would immediately walk away when someone starts laughing loudly or talking loudly. "I was just a little annoyed and lashed out at you. I'm sorry." Sunghoon looked to the ground, and waited for Sunoo to say something.
Sunoo's heart hurt a little seeing Sunghoon's expression. Sunghoon never really showed any emotion on his face, and seeing him with such a guilty and sorry face made Sunoo' heart ache— he wished the first expression he saw was Sunghoon smiling to him— but nonetheless, Sunoo wanted to forgive Sunghoon as he could feel his sincerity.
