3rd Person POV

-October 31st, 1978-

Elizabeth stood on her stool, staring at the mirror on the wall with a small smile. She was in the middle of tying her newly dyed ginger hair into pigtails, two purple elastics sitting on the counter as she pulled the brush through her hair. She stepped back and admired her outfit as she continued her task, a white long-sleeved shirt with a red crop top over it, a red pleated skirt with an orange petticoat under it to make it poofier, and white tights that she had painted herself to look like her beloved clown animatronics metal plating. Elizabeth finished pulling her hair up, tying a purple ribbon around each pigtail, before starting on her make-up. She grabbed a lipstick off the counter and painted her lips a deep red before drawing two large circles on her cheeks, filling them in and connecting them to her lips, before she finished it off with a small circle on her nose. The young girl grinned as her father called her "Elizabeth c'mon we're gonna be late!" he yelled. Elizabeth grabbed her cardboard microphone and slipped on her red-heeled Mary-Janes that she had previously glued orange pom-poms on. She turned with a small smile, stepping off her stool "COMING DADDY!!!" she responded before shutting off the light and leaving the bathroom, making her way down the stairs rather quickly.

The eight-year-old girl reached the ground floor and was standing right in front of her father. William was standing by the banister, wearing yellow bunny ears with a gold blazer, white undershirt, purple bowtie, and black trousers, while holding Elizabeth's red candy bag. The ginger-haired girl smiled and grabbed the bag "Can we go now daddy?????" she asked, tugging on her father's blazer. William looked down "we have to wait for your brother and sister Elizabeth-" he said sternly. Right as William said that Evalyn walked down the stairs, wearing a costume similar to her father's. She wore a gold jacket, white undershirt, black skirt, and a purple bowtie that she was currently holding in her hand "Daddy...can you help with my tie...?" she mumbled, clutching it. William nodded and crouched down, grabbing the loose ends of the pre-tied bow, and tying it around Evalyn's collar. The girl forced a soft smile, holding her Fredbear plush and cardboard Microphone that went with her costume. Elizabeth grinned "EV LOOK WE MATCH!!" she extended her hand to show her identical twin sister the microphone she made, bedazzled with glitter and rhinestones. Evalyn looked at her twin "how are you holding that..." she muttered, looking at the sharp stones indenting her sister's hand and the glitter all over the floor. The girl's grin widened "EASY! I just, hold it!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling like glimmering emeralds. Evalyn sighed and turned toward her father "Is Mikey coming with us....?" she asked, clutching the plushie close to her chest. William turned and walked up the stairs, shouting for his son but there was no response. Elizabeth also stepped up the stairs, following behind her father "Mikey we have to leave...!!" she yelled, pushing open his door.

The 13-year-old boy sat on his bed, reading a book, his mother's knit jacket hanging over his shoulders. William sighed "Michael are you coming with us or not-" he spat looking at his eldest. Michael looked up "I'm going to Simon's house, he's having a Halloween party" he muttered before looking back to his book. William walked over and snatched the book from Michael's grasp "Lose the attitude or you aren't going anywhere you damn f**!" he yelled, slapping his son across the face. Michael froze, holding his cheek "I apologize father..." he mumbled, tears forming in his eyes. William backed up, looking at his hand before sighing and placing the book on his son's bedside table "I'm sorry for losing my temper Michael....but you are grounded-" he said sternly before leaving the room, locking the door from the outside. The brunette shook a bit as he grabbed his book, putting it back on the shelf when a picture caught his eye. Michael picked up the picture, it was a picture of his parent's wedding, both of them looking miserable. The boy knew of his parent's arrangement and that he and his siblings were born for the sole purpose of...solidifying the arrangement. Michael sighed, putting the picture down, and walked to his door, jiggling the handle but the door was locked" Well- that's a problem...and I already know father locked my window after the last time I snuck out" he huffed before turning to the poster on his wall. He had an idea...Michael walked to his closet, grabbed his makeshift rope made of old bedsheets, tightened the knots, and added an extra bedsheet. He smiled at his work before he ran over and grabbed the poster, moving it aside, and going through the door that led to his sisters' room. He walked over to the window, pushing aside the pink and blue tie-dyed curtains, and opened the window, slipping the make-shift rope down the side of the house. Michael sighed as he climbed down, landing on the soft grass, looking in the window, and being face to face with his youngest sister. The ginger-haired girl looked at her older brother before smiling and putting a finger to her lips with a wink before mouthing 'you owe me-' she grinned and waved her brother off. Michael nodded and slung his backpack over his shoulder before running down the road.

William walked over to his daughter "What are you looking at?" he asked, looking down at her. Elizabeth turned towards her father "I saw a puppy" she said happily before looking away from the window and skipping over to her sister. Evalyn stood still "Is Mikey Coming?" she asked, William shook his head "No- He's grounded-" he scoffed before walking away. Elizabeth sighed before there was a knock on the door "Who is it?" she called while unlocking the door. Evalyn turned to her "you don't ask who it is while opening the door-" she mumbled, holding her plushie. Elizabeth rolled her eyes and opened the door "UNCLE HENRY! AUNTIE SERENA!!" she beamed and jumped into Henry's arms. Henry smiled "hey kiddo- how are you?" he asked, booping her tiny button nose. The ginger-haired girl softly giggled "I'm good! Are you gonna take us trick or treating?" she asked, clapping her hands. Serena piped up "Actually your mother is gonna take you while we go to a party at Freddy's," she said simply while filing her nails. William looked up "Surprise. I was able to arrange for your mother to take you trick-or-treating and then you can stay the night at her house" he softly smiled at his twin daughter's joint excited expressions. Evalyn held her Fredbear plush "Mama's coming?" she asked, her eyes bright. William nodded, quickly looking at Henry before looking away, his face turning slightly red. Henry raised an eyebrow "something wrong Will?" he asked, holding Elizabeth in his arms.

William turned "I'm fine- just a little warm- can you take the kids outside, Roselle should be here soon" he quickly said before running upstairs. Serena put her nail file in her bag "What's with him-" she asked, her eyes narrowing as she looked at her husband, Henry shrugged "I'm not sure- also don't be rude Serena- I know you don't like William- c'mon let's get the kids to their mother" he said, walking over and grabbing Evalyn's hand with Elizabeth holding onto his other hand. "you both ready?" he asked. Elizabeth nodded while nudging her twin "WE'RE GONNA GET SO MUCH CANDY EV!!!!!" she exclaimed. Henry smiled and walked outside, his wife following behind him, holding the twins' candy bags. The two girls smiled as they saw their mother's car drive in front of the house. Roselle opened the car door and stepped out, her soft ginger curls piled and pinned on her head, her green-brown eyes shining in the dim lighting, walking so gracefully it seemed she was gliding. Elizabeth beamed "MAMA!!!" she yelled, running to hug her mother but someone grabbed her by her collar and lifted her up off the ground "humph!" she huffed. Roselle smiled softly "Sorry dear...I don't want your makeup ruining my dress..." she explained, her hands gracefully cupped in front of her "you can let her go now Sarah-" she said, her eyes narrowing. Elizabeth turned, her eyes widening as she grinned "Auntie Sarah!!....is Cassidy here.....-" she spat as her aunt put her down. Sarah chuckled "she's in the car Eliza- I know you don't like your cousin- but ya gotta get along- now where's my baby brother?" she smirked and ruffled Elizabeth's hair. Henry let go of Evalyn's hand, taking the bags from Serena and giving them to the twins before responding to the older woman's question "he's inside, said he was changing" he explained before turning and talking to his wife. Sarah rolled her eyes "He's probably panicking because of what happened-" she rolled her eyes, Roselle raised an eyebrow "What happened, Darling?" she whispered, tilting her head to the side. Sarah's face slightly flushed before she leaned over, whispering in Roselle's ear. The smaller woman clasped her hand to her mouth "but he's still-" she started before Sarah cut her off "I know Rosie- you don't have to tell me-" she said.

Elizabeth tugged on her mother's dress "C'monnn let's go!! All the good candy is gonna get taken!!!" she huffed. Roselle sighed and held her daughters' hands "Okay. Okay" she smiled and started walking down the sidewalk, Sarah walking in the opposite direction to help her daughter out of the car. The twins smiled, the two skipping beside their mother...everything was perfect...what could possibly go wrong...?

Well.... somehow everything went wrong...
