There's no time like the present to start a dairy, but why start from now? From the present? Why not start at the beginning?....
I was a troubled young boy ever since birth. For you see my muggle of a father left my mother, who sadly died giving birth to me, after he found out she was a witch. So that leads us to where I am now, at Wool's orphanage full of filthy muggles. Of course then I did not know that they where muggles then or that I was even a wizard but those muggles were so idiotic I thought at least I can practise my new found abilities on the unsuspecting idiots. For it wasn't until I turned eleven years old, with a visit from a strange old man, that I found out what I could really do with these abilities.
I'm sure if your close with Dumbledore, then you already know the story of how we first met, of how he lit my wardrobe on fire, then extinguished it with a wave of his stick(I would later find out that this was called a wand) and confronted me about my miss habits with the other children. Also the first time, and the first person I ever told that I could speak to snakes, which I found out to be unusual and the correct name, parseltongue. After making sure he wasn't another one of those doctors Mrs Cole always made me see and all the finer details where lined out it was decided, that on the first of September, I Tom Marvolo Riddle would be attending this school called Hogwarts.
