Chapter 21: The 12 Rookies Face off

Kei, Akira, and Kaito we're walking down the hallway heading to the meeting area on the third.

"For the guys who couldn't tell that were only on the second floor," Akira said."I could only see a few of them actually making it through the exams."

"I agree. I could tell by just going up the stairs that it wasn't the third floor," Kaito stated.

"Correct, but you know that some people just don't think things for," Kei commented."By the way, Kaito, can I ask you something?" She said, looking at Kaito

"Of course," Kaito said.

"How come your sister looks different from you?" Kei asked."I didn't even know that she was your sister the day I met her since I met this young boy who hangs out with her until I learned her surname."

"I knew it Kei-sensei makes sense on why the name was familiar!" He shouted with a smile."She takes more after my dad, who is full-blood Hoshigaki, while my mom is half on her mom's side but don't know what family her father's from."

"I knew you two didn't seem entirely Hoshigaki after I saw a picture of them in one of Kei's books," Akira commented.

"Oh, I don't think I even read that book about the shinboi clans," Kei said.

Kei, Akira, and Kaito now stood outside a large door where Mizuko-sensei was waiting for them.

"Kei, Akira, and Kaito, I see that you three have made it past the little Genjustu test," She said.

"So that was a test?" Akira asked.

"Yes, to see who was worthy of entering the exams," She explained.

"I see there trying to make sure anyone who is not ready doesn't pass through," Kei said.

"That's correct, but you three on ready for the first team I agree to lead since I switched from being only a medical ninja in the hospital," She started."You are fantastic, shinboi. Now go in there and show everyone what you're made of!"

"Hai!" The three genin said in unison.

The three Genin walked into the room and saw many different ninjas from different villages and saw most of them were a lot older than them.

A whistle was heard, and the three looked to see an older guy whistling at Akira.

"Gross. That guy is probably sixteen, and he is flirting with me," Akira commented, annoyed as they went and found a spot against the wall to wait at.

"Agree just as bad as how many boys asked to marry you eventually they settle down, unlike Sasuke fangirls," Kaito said right before he heard a familiar voice.

"Sasuke, where have you been!" A familiar voice exclaimed.

Kei, Akira, and Kaito turned to see Ino running towards Sasuke and hugging him."Man, you have no idea how much I was hoping to see your handsome here," She continued.

"Oh, here we go," Kaito sighed."Seriously what so great about that emo?" He asked.

"Sometimes I think your jealous, Kait, when Ino hugs Sasuke," Akira stated.

"Jealous, of course not. I don't like Ino like that," Kaito started laughing, not looking at Akira.

"Your mouth says that, but your eyes say otherwise," Kei said with a slight smirk.

"Oh, be quiet," Kaito said.

"Hey, you porker! Back off! He's mine!" Sakura yelled.

"Miss. Forehead, they let you in!" Ino
replied."You still got those big frown
lines on your billboard brow, I see," She continued pushing Sasuke and leaving one arm on his shoulder.
