"You actually got her number?!"
"Hello to you too, Siyoon." Haram laughs as she walks into the shared apartment.
Siyoon is a close friend of Haruna, much like a sister to her. She's the one who helps Haruna with Korean, and will translate things she doesn't understand for her. They met when she went to school in Japan for a couple of years for foreign language studies.
The two girls were waiting by the door when Tsuki and Haram got back. Haram could only guess that Tsuki had texted Haruna about the note with Sua's number on it.
Haram pulls her phone out hoping to see a response from Sua, and yet there was nothing. A couple of promotional emails and game notifications pop up on her screen, but not a single text message. There was a sense of disappointment that fell over Haram, she was hoping there would at least be a "Hey!" or something. And yet there was nothing.
"Well, did she text back?" Tsuki leans over Harams shoulder. She shakes her head, it's been hours since she first texted Sua. She wondered if she should've been more clear in the text, explaining that she was the girl from the crystal shop. She debated on texting her again, but she didn't want to come off as stalker-ish or clingy. Maybe Sua was busy? Or maybe she thought it was a mistake to give Haram her number? Her thoughts continue to race and she couldn't help but feel anxious in the situation.
Setting her phone down, she turns to the three girls staring at her. "Hey Tsuki, how about you invite Sheon over? Let's all go out, we can go to the mall or something. All five of us."
Haram needed some sort of distraction, and Tsuki could tell. She smiles and nods, grabbing her phone to call Suyeon. Haruna and Siyoon run to Haruna's room, likely to get ready to leave. Haram felt lonely as the girls went to do their own thing. They each had someone. Sure, Haram had Suhyeon, but often times if she wasn't busy at the cafe she would be at school or at magazine shoots. Suhyeon was always deep in her studies and when she became a part time model, her schedule became permanently booked.
The lonely feeling seemed to make Haram think about Sua more, which was the opposite of what she wanted to do. She picked up her phone again, hoping that maybe she got a text while she was lost in her thoughts. Nothing. She groaned, tossing her phone onto the couch.
"Suyeon said she can meet us at the mall since she gets off soon--Are you okay?" Tsuki says as she walked back into the living room. Haram shakes her head yet again, "What if she doesn't text back?"
Tsuki laughs at that, "Be patient, I'm sure she'll respond soon. Maybe she's busy as work?" Haram sighs, Tsuki was likely right. Sua was probably just busy and couldn't respond right away. No matter the reason, she needed a distraction so she wasn't checking her phone every five minutes.
"Siyoon, Runa, are you ready to go?"
Both the girls come out of Haruna's room smiling and nodding. "Yup, lets go!" Haruna says excitedly.
"Ahh Suyeon look at that necklace!" Tsuki grabs Suyeon's hand, pulling her into the jewelry shop as soon as the five walk into the mall.
"Well, let's just leave them be. What do you girls want to do?" Haram asks the other two. Haruna and Siyoon point at the arcade next to the food court, "Let's go in there!" Haram nods and follows the two into the arcade.
There it was again, that feeling of loneliness. Haram couldn't quite describe the feeling as anything else. She was surrounded by people and yet she was alone. This wasn't a foreign feeling to her, however. It was actually quite common. That's the reason she offered Tsuki and Haruna to move in, and the reason she started Crystals & Coffee with Suhyeon. Once Suhyeon became busy all the time, Tsuki and Haram got closer. That was until Suyeon came. Now don't get me wrong, Haram doesn't dislike Suyeon. Quite the opposite actually, she see's her as a best friend. However, once Tsuki and Suyeon got together, that lonely feeling seemed to get worse.
