Until the stars burn out.

Just a school problem.

"Hey Rainestorm!" someone shouted from behind them, Raine turned around,

"Eda!?" they said surprised, turning around and running towards their bestfriend; well crush, but that wasn't relevant. When the two reached each other, they did their handshake and hugged.

"i thought you weren't coming today?" Raine said confused.

"yeah well, thought you could use someone to cry to after your concert" Eda said grinning at them.

shit! the concert is today?! Raine thought to themself. Eda must've noticed because just a few seconds after she reasured them that it would be fine.

"hey! don't worry about it, it's going to be fine... and you're the best one there anyways so..." the last part she mumbled, but it was just loud enough for Raine to hear it. They could feel their cheeks redden while looking at Eda. Where they Imagining this or was she blushing.

"Anyways" she said, quickly turning away. "we're going to run late lets go" she said turning back to Raine, smiling at them like always.

"Oh right, lets go!" Raine said snapping out of their trance. As they were walking towards Lilith and Darius who were already waiting for them, they couldn't help but think about what just happened

did Eda Really just blush? no probably not... but what if, NO! they thought

it was probably my brain playing tricks on me

Once they all reached potions class Eda went in and said bye to Raine, Lilith and Darius.

Why did i say Raine was the best!? ugh stupid!! she thought to herself but true.

She went over to her usual table and put her legs on the chair beside her. No one ever sat with her, she liked it that way though. She wasn't fond of small talk.

She looked out of the window and on the other side of the school-yard was Raine

Right... the bard class is on the other side, ugh how could i forget! she watched them as they took out their Violin, and walking over their spot in the room...

they look adorable when they play. She thought.

"Edalyn!?" A voice suddenly shot through the room, which made Eda look away from Raine very quickly.

"do we have your attention!?" Her Teacher said sharply

"yes of course" she said a bit embarressed.

ugh why can't i just get over this! they don't like me anyway! she decided for herself.

After Potions class Eda really just wanted to go home... but Raines koncert was the only thing that held her here plus she did NOT want to go to another Brilliant healer her mother had found!

she walked into the cafeteria not expecting her friends to be there already -they always took their time taking extra notes and all that- but to her surprise, a very concerned looking Raine was already sat at the usual table -the furthest table away from everyone else-. She quickly skipped through the line and walked over to Raine.

"Hey Nerd, why so bothered?" she said laughing, but when Raine turned to her with tears in Their eyes her smile dropped. she quickly sat down and Raine just fell into her arms, silently crying.

"hey, let's scram. Then you can tell me what happened. Okay?!" she said trying to comfort her friend... which she wish could be more then just that.

Once they reached an empty class room, Eda let go of Raine so they could walk in first. She rolled down all of the curtains and locked the door from the inside. When she turned to Raine again, they were sitting in a corner legs pulled to the chest and head in the knees, their arms locking it all up. She rushed over and sad beside them.

"hey what happened?! you looked fine when you stepped into the classroom?" she said, which made Raine look up in confusion.

"how do you know that?" they said questioning Edas statement.

shit! Eda thought, and when she realized there wasn't really any explanation for that except the truth, she quietly sighed.

"well you know the classes are right beside each other so i looked over and watched you take out your violin..." She said feeling the blood rushing up to her cheeks her friend looked at her for a long time in silence, before finally saying.

"i-i never noticed that" they said stunned -also lying completely- Raine knew that they had been looking at Eda to... but why was she watching them?

"yeah well" Eda said smiling awkwardly

of course they didn't! she thought. why would they, they don't like me like that.

"now tell me what happened!" she said -almost demanding it actually-

"well" Raine started.

"i was i wasn't paying attention..." at least not to the right thing they thought.

"and so when the teacher gave the que for me to start and i didn't i just-" Tears shot up in their eyes again. Eda Leaned in and hugge them.

"go on" she said reassuring them.

"well everyone looked at me and-" Raine was now just blabbering every thing out -they had very severe stage fright-.

"and i didn't notice because i was just looking at you and..." They put a hand on their mouth,

why did i say that! Raine thought, now even more panicked.

what did they just say?! Eda thought. they both sat there in the dark, just looking at each other. Not saying a word. Raine was still holding their hand on their mouth, eyes widened; just like Eda's.

"i- it-" Raine started saying when they were cut of by the bell. They both sprung to their feet.

"we should" Raine said

"yeah, yeah!" Eda said still blushing from Raines statement... they both said bye awkwardly and went in different directions.

Hey i am not really expecting for people to read this but oh well: ik the whole thing is a bit rushed i just needed a start. I might edit it later on. hope you enjoyed it tho! i'll try to write the second chapter this week so there will (hopefully) be two chapters every week:))
