A month later  

Evas pov

Things with Bennett has gotten much more better, we do much more than just talk now and it's clear we both have feelings for each other. I was on my way to our usual meet ups but on my way there I heard weird noises coming from the utility closet, so me being the curious cat I am I opened the door and saw Bennett and Dayanara Diaz having sex. I've never felt more heartbroken than I am right now, other than the time I lost my brother and mother. 

"Eva....wait-" "Don't talk to me" I said coldly before turning around and slamming the door shut before walking down the corridor with anger in my eyes, "Hey Nova are you alright?" Chapman came running over to me, she held onto my right hand and I stared at her. "I'm fine Chapman what're you doing?" I asked and she walked beside me, "I was trying to find you actually-" "Nova" I heard Bennett call out, "Oh Officer Bennett is calling for you" Chapman said, "Ignore him..." I said and sped up my walking speed. 

Bennetts pov

Lunch time came and I was on guard watch with Mendez, Daya sneakily rubbed her hand against my torso as she went past and smiled at me before walking over to a table but my eyes was set on Eva who was sitting with her usual group and eating. She brushed her hair out of her hair then looked over to me and put her fork down, she rolled her eyes and turned in her seat just to avoid looking at me. 

I swallowed lightly and looked away from her, "Hey babygiiirl!" I heard someone say so I looked round to see a new inmate walking in, she had blonde hair and fair skin with blue eyes and she had her eyes on someone. "Come give me a kiss like before hmm?" She said and caught everyones attention, Eva stood up and slammed her tray down against the table. "Stay away from me Maya" She warned, "But Eva you and I go wayyyy back my love" She rushed over towards Eva and grabbed her hair, forcing her to tilt her head back and show off her neck. 

The Maya girl kissed at Evas neck and I heard Mendez chuckle before rushing over to split the two, I rushed over and held onto Evas arms and she tried to get free from my hold. "You crazy motherfucker you think you can come back into my life and act like nothing happened?!" Eva yelled out, "Honey you need to relax" Maya said as she walked pulled out of the lunch hall, I let go of Eva who sat down and stared down at her tray so I walked back to my position at the door. 

"Eva are you alright?" Taystee asked as she walked over to her, "Yeah I'm good but my neck feels dirty" Eva complained, I looked over to her and she wiped her neck with her sleeve. "Who was she anyway?" Taystee asked, "My old mafia member...right hand woman to my father" Eva said then she looked over to me. 

Evas pov

I got up and followed everyone out of the lunch hall but I was grabbed by Bennett and pulled aside, "Ivanova you're coming with me" He said in a demanding tone so I followed him thinking it was just him doing his job but when we reached the utility room he closed the door and pushed me against the wall. "You're the only one I want and I'm sorry about what I did...I told Dayana that she can't keep wanting me and I told her that I have someone outside of the prison that I really love...but it's you, it's you who I love Eva" He said and cupped my face in his hands, "Then why did you let her want you? Why did you have sex with her? Did...you do it with her a lot?" I asked, "No that was the first and last time...I made a mistake Eva and I'm sorry" He said so I closed my eyes and forced the anger back. 

"The only girl I want to kiss and touch is you and when you're ready we can...do the do" He said, "I love you too John but...what you did really hurt me, you need to make sure Diaz knows you're not her come to anymore" I said, "I already have warned her" He said and I pursed my lips, "Then why did she slyly touch your torso?" I asked and he sighed out.
