"A company trip." Nanon repeated himself, nodding in the process feeling the other's bewilderment.

"Can you finish what's in your mouth first? Table manners suggest that we should not speak while eating."
"Bwut--" Nanon sent a glare in his direction and he shut his mouth. Ohm hurriedly chewed on his food wanting to talk more.
"okay I'm done! now tell me, why has this trip been planned? You know sometimes i just don't get your phi, in the entire one year of time that i have spent here, i have never seen him spend huge amounts this often. like what the hell happened to him."
"okay first of all can you lower your volume? we are sitting in the cafeteria and other than us nobody really knows about this. Second, phi said that you can bring your boyfriend too. Apparently him and phi are friends? Third, shut up will you, my phi is very nice."
"You know he's actually acting very strange these days, specially around my boyfriend. Out of the two times he has met P'Sing--"
"Who?"
"My boyfriend, obviously."
"Oh." Nanon gently pursed his lips. " His name is Sing?"
"No he's actually Singto, Singto Prachaya Ruangroj, but the close one's call him Sing"
"Cool I guess... continue"
"Oh yeah! So both the times he met my phi they just bickered throughout. Phi actually has hated him since I started working for this company. So how are they supposed to be friends?"
"How would I know" Nanon shrugged taking another bite from his food.
"Ohm" He said.
"Ohm?" The other repeated with an amused smile. "Nickname basis already huh Kirdpan?"
"It was a slip of tongue like it happened with you yesterday!"
"Mine wasn't a slip of tongue though." He said, chewing in the process.
"You cannot call me by my nickname." Nanon firmly stated.
"Fine, I'll call you Korapat."
"Then I will call you Pawat!"
"Okay" Ohm slightly protruded his lower lip.
"Okay!"
"What were you going to say anyway?" said the older.
Nanon paused for a second then started. "Do you have any friends here?"
"Of course. You have met P'Off, P'Tay and P'Gun from our department. The ones around my age are in different departments so we rarely get to see each other but we do take out time sometimes."
"I honestly thought you were a loner since you'd always stick to--"
"You? No, I was following you around before, because I was interested in you. Actually since the last two months I have had so much work that I am not able to even meet the people in my own department. I barely get a five minutes break to have lunch in my own office. I even reach home late."
"But haven't you been free these past few days?"
"That's what my point is, my work load has been lessened all of a sudden? doesn't the boss have to do something with it? He's acting strange."
"At least he's not eccentric like you." Nanon raised his eyebrows.
"What?! I am not eccentric!"
"Oh heck you are you freak! Are you not interested in me anymore?! you are still sticking to me though!"
