ATSUMU KNEW SOMETHING was off the moment he stepped foot inside the meeting room.

Tension was thick in the air, bearing it's bloodied fangs on everyone gathered. One glance around the stifling room almost had the blonde snorting out loud because it looked like a war was about to break out at any second.

Sitting closest to the door was Sakusa, poised and businesslike, the man took a seat at the end of the table. On his right sat Tsukishima, the unmistakable sneer present on his usually stoic face as the Business teacher drummed his slender fingers on the surface repeatedly.

Iwaizumi leaned against the wall directly behind Sakusa, emerald eyes narrowed and fixated on the other end of the long table. His arms were crossed in front of his chest, posture seemingly relaxed yet there was no denying the faint sense of danger that clung to his body.

Kuroo sat on Sakusa's left, a light grin coating his lips however those copper cat-like eyes were sharp, not missing a single detail or gesture - letting it be known to the enemy that had so willingly walked into their territory.

Three men respectively sat at the other end of the table.

"You're late" spoke Sakusa coldly the second Atsumu made his way inside the room. "Sorry Omi, had ta deal with a student o' mine" replied the blonde-haired man cheerfully. Taking a seat next to Tsukishima who only rolled his eyes at him with a light scoff.

"It's good to see you again Atsumu."

The calm tone carried down the length of the table, directing all attention towards the man sitting there. Calm brown eyes peered at him, the cold within rivaling Sakusa's obsidian ones. "I take it you've been well?"

Despite how quietly the words were uttered, there was a certain chill to them that never failed to make Atsumu shiver whenever the man's attention would be directed at him. Kita Shinsuke was a force to be reckoned with, establishing his presence with a single sweep of his eyes.

He cleared his throat, hoping the waver in his voice wouldn't be picked up on. "I've been good ya know, teaching an' stuff."

Kita gave a small smile, hands formally placed on the table before him. Atsumu looked at the brunette, inclining his head with a lazy smirk hanging from his lips. Suna rolled his eyes, shaking his head lightly. A few cracks echoed around the room as the final man sitting on Kita's left, flexed his fingers with a low satisfying groan rumbling at the back of his throat.

Daishou propped his chin in his hand, slanted eyes slithering from one person to the next - the tip of his tongue swiped the corner of his lips. Kuroo's gaze narrowed, displeasure rooted deep inside upon the sight of the man who's appearance resembled every aspect of a snake.

"What's this about Kita?" questioned Sakusa deeply, black curls hanging before his eyes as his leather-clad fingers tapped the table impatiently. "Care to explain why you wanted them here?"

Atsumu rose a brow, making eye-contact with Iwaizumi who's jaw clenched in response. If he didn't know any better, the other three males must also be having a free period right now. That would explain why they were here but the bigger question was as to; why were they here?

"Is it considered wrong to see old friends?". Kita's face was expressionless, even after saying that sentence that would normally garner a positive reaction, it just made the rest of them on edge because the light-haired man's voice was painfully bland. "It's been quite some time since we've all seen each other."

"Cut the bullshit" growled Iwaizumi. "Don't waste our time. Just spit out what you wanna say since we all know that you personally never show up unless you've got a good reason to, so care to enlighten us?"
