Things happen for a reason.

Jace Cicely, the hottest guy in school. Uhh, he may be good looking, but he's a pain. I used to be best friends with him, until he changed for the worse. I will miss those nights where he would come over and have a movie night.

I was just remenising about Jace, when I run into the Devil himself.

"Watch where you're going, nerd." Jace said.

Wow, that hurt. We were best friends, how could he hurt me like this? He even loved me, or so he said.

FLASHBACK

"Hey, Jayce!" Jace shouted.

"Hi, Jacie!" I shouted.

We were very amused with the fact that we both had similar names. So, because my name's Jacye, I called him Jacie so we had the exact name.

"Jacye, I need to tell you something." Jace said nervously.

"Okay, Jacie!" I said smiling.

"I love you." Jace said blushing.

"Really? I love you to, bestie!" I shouted.

"No, I mean I love you more than a friend." he said seriously.

"Oh, I love you to, Jace." I responded happily.

END FLASHBACK

We really did love each other, or maybe it was just me. I could see the truth in his eyes, though. So maybe he did love me. He sure doesn't now. It's too bad that I still love him. Oh, Jace. The things you do to me. I hate to love you.

"Oh, urm, hi, Jace." I whispered awkwardly.

"Jacye. What a... surprise." Jace said, his eyes softning a bit when he looked at me.

"Urr, I'm just gonna go... talk to my friends?" I said, like a question.

"What friends, Jacye?" Jace asked.

"I have friends!" I said offended.

"Oh really? Like who?" Jace asked amused.

"Well, I used to have a best friend that I was in love with, I thought the feelings were mutral, but I guess I thought wrong!" I shouted on the verge of tears.

"Jacye," Jace said with pain and regret in his voice. Good, he deserves pain. "The feelings were mutral. I just met someone else. Someone who complets me." Jace said, forcing the words out.

"That, I could have understood, but, who said I was talking about you?" I smirked evily. "You know," I continued "If it was you, why would you leave me, your best friend, for a girl you loved? We all could have been great friends!" I cried. "But, you have made it very obvious that you do not wish to be my friend, so I guess you are correct, I am a complete loner. And it sucks!" I screamed. "So, thank you so much, Jace William Cicely! Thank you for ruining my whole life! I hope you are very happy with Crystal!" I screamed with venom coating my voice.

"Jacye, please, I-I love you!" Jace cried.

"You love me?" I laugh without humor. "If you loved me, you would still be my friend, not chasing a girl who will never love the way I do, I mean did." I stuttered.

"You still love me?" Jace said with happiness.

"Yes. I completly, and totally love you. I hate to love you." I muttered.

"But, there is hope for us, right?" Jace said, not hiding the smile on his face.

"Goodbye, Jace." I said coldly.

With that, I turned on my heel, running from Jace. I could barely hear him, but he was shouting my name.

Oh well, he made me suffer, now it's his turn.
