Chapter five

CHAPTER FIVE: you're undead to me

OF COURSE KENDALL GRIFFO KNEW ABOUT THE CAR WASH THAT WOULD BE TAKING PLACE AT THE SCHOOL TOMORROW. Ever since Kendall started to hang out with Tyler-although, it wasn't really hanging out. More, Tyler found Kendall in the halls and started a conversation.- Tyler had been trying to convince the other to come to the car wash.

"One, I don't have a car. Two, I will not be creepy by washing a bunch of boys and girls wash cars." Kendall had told him.

"Then you can help wash the cars," Tyler tells him.

"See, I would, but, I have plans."

"What? Sit in your room and read?"

"I don't just sit around and read."

"Oh. Right. How could I forget?" Tyler mocked. "You are always so busy."

Kendall shoulder bumped Tyler. "Don't be a jackass."

"Hey, Kendall," Jeremy called out, quickly approaching the two.

Tyler sighed in annoyance. "Gilbert can't you see we are having a conversation?"

"I wasn't talking to you," Jeremy glared at Tyler.

"You-"

Kendall pulled Tyler a step back, taking a step forward to be in between the two. "You two are not fucking fighting, again. It's stupid and pathetic. Tyler and I are in the middle of a conversation, I'll talk to you later, Jeremy."

Jeremy looked surprised. He hadn't actually believed that Kendall and Tyler were friends again. But, clearly he was wrong. Jeremy glared at Tyler. "Are you serious?"

Kendall muttered under his breathe when he had actually shown up to the car wash. "I swear," Kendall immediately says when he comes up to Tyler. "you are so annoying."

Tyler grinned. "Answer my call next time."

"Calls," Kendall corrected. "You called me multiple times."

Caroline Forbes had walked up to them huffing when she had seen that Kendall was still in jeans and a shirt. "It's called sexy suds. Why does no one know that?" She exclaimed.

Kendall glanced at her and then back at Tyler. "You see what you caused?" He asked as he removed his shirt.

Tyler stuck by Kendall's side, helping him in cleaning up the cars.

When suddenly, a fire started, leading to a blue car. People yelled in confusion and panic, grabbing the hose, Kendall moved to spray down the car. Tyler reached forward, pulling the other back. "Kendall, no, stay back, you're gonna get hurt."

The car, suddenly stopped burning.

Kendall has gone home, ignoring all the calls that had came to his phone. But, he did jump when a knock came at his window. Jeremy smiled as Kendall opened up his window. "I'm so glad that your room is on the first floor," Jeremy steps in.

"What are you doing here?" Kendall asked, sitting back on his bed.

"I just wanted to see you," Jeremy replied, walking closer, and then sitting down next to Kendall.

"Oh, to interrogate me on my friendship with Tyler Lockwood, again?" Kendall mocked.

"I'm sorry. It's just...you don't think it's odd? After three years of ignoring you, for no reason, he suddenly wants to be your friend again?"

Kendall shrugged. "It's not like we're actually friends. More, like, acquaintances."

"Who talk every single day."

"Why do you care?" Kendall snapped.

"Because the last time you were friends with him, he abandoned you."

"You make no sense! You are sleeping with Vicki-which is disgusting because she's nineteen-"

"Don't talk about Vicki that way," Jeremy immediately says.

Kendall clicked his tongue. "Get out of my room."

"Kendall-"

"Get the fuck out of my room."

Jeremy left.

Kendall collapsed back onto his bed, sighing. You are screwed.
