Chapter 4:Tribute Interviews

"Hello everyone!"Yells Caesar Flickerman."First up,Brandon!"He yells as Brandon walks up on stage."Hello Brandon."Caeser says shaking Brandon's hand."Hello Caesar!"He says."Im happy to be here!"He sits down into the chair, crossing his legs.
"Are you nervous about the games, Brandon?" Caesar asks, looking straight into Brandon's deep brown eyes.
"A little bit, I guess," he admits, "but I know that if I don't come out of that arena alive, I will know that I tried my hardest,"
"So, how are liking the Capital so far?" Caesar asks, his bright yellow eyebrows burning in the light.
"The people are very nice her but I think they dress a little funny," Brandon says casually. The crowd roars with laughter, blocking out the sound of the buzzer saying it's time to move on to the next interview.
"Alright. Well, thank you for the great time, Brandon. Next up, Sanjana Argade!"Sanjana walks on stage in her blue dress and white high heels. A pearl necklace dangles from her neck and is long enough to barely reach the top of her baby blue strapless dress.
Caesar asks some of the same questions until it's Alana's turn.Alana walks up on stage.She is wearing a green/blue strapless dress."Welcome Alana!"Yells Ceaser."Hey Ceaser."Says Alana in a smug voice."Are you ready to win Alana?"He asks."Yes but my classmates are very good at stuff to plus I already have an alliance."She says."Ohh really well don't forget that you have to go up against an other class from district 11 too!"He says with a smile on his face."Wait-what?!"She asks"We have to go against an other district class too?Its already hard to have to kill some of the people that I grew up with but now I have to-"She is forced to stop when Caesar says "Time is up good-bye Alana and may the odds be ever in your favor!"Alana stands up and walks off the stage.It is my turn very quickly.A man pushes me onto the stage."Next up is...."Caesar hesitates"Kara Harrower!!!!!!!"He continues.I walk up on stage in my black and white strapless dress."Welcome Kara."Caesar says. "Hey Caesar."I say sitting down."So Kara,is there anyone that you like back at home?"He asks.Yes I think "No."I say with a smile."okay well when you do you let us know okay?"He asks."Okay I will."I tell him in a smug voice."Now,so you think you can win this game?"He asks me."Of course."I say looking into the crowd."And why is that?"He asks.Because I used to hunt our food I think looking back to the crowd."No reason,"I say looking over to Lindsay and Ryan."Cause I have no idea."I continue."Okay well that's all the time we have for today and are you sure that you don't like any one back at home or that is here with you?"He asksIm not sure I think"Totally sure!"I say standing up as I look over to Ryan."Well good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor!"He yells as he looks to the crowd.I walk off the stage as they take Adrianna away.I pass Ryan.He grabs my arm stopping me.I look over at him.He smiles at me and let's go of my hand.I start to walk again when I look back at him.He stares at me as I walk away.I watch Adrianna walk onto stage.Her dress is purple velvet and pink silk."Welcome Adrianna!"Yells Caesar."Hey Caesar."Says Adrianna."So Adrianna do you know who Kara likes and do you like someone yourself?"He asks.Adrianna looks over at me and says "Yes I do know,and I don't like anyone."Caesar looks into the crowd as the cheer he quiets them."Who is it?"He asksI look away and step away from Ryan as we glance at each other I look away from him and the stage."She likes............"She hesitates and looks at me."You know what I really don't know."She continues."Caesar's mouth drops as I have a sigh of relief.I look back over to Ryan who is watching me step back."Fine well that's all the time we have for now he says and my the odds be never in your favor!"He yells as Adrianna stands up and walks off the stage I run up to her and hug her.She picks me up.""Wow Adrianna I didn't know you could do that!"I yell as she puts me down.we exchange smiles.I look over to the screen I front of me.Lindsay walks onto stage.Her dress is Coral and light blue."Welcome Lindsay!"Yells Caesar as Lindsay sits down."Hey Caesar."Lindsay says."So do you know who Kara likes?"Asks Caesar."Wow you are desperate to know aren't you?"She asks."Of course I know!"Lindsay continues as she looks over at Ryan."Infact he's next."She say looking back at Caesar."I walk over to see the real her on the stage and give her a bad look."Who is it?!"Asks Caesar.I shake my head as I back up away from the stage and away from Ryan."His name is Ryan!"She yells giving a smirks to the camera.I run to where the elevators and stairs are I run up the stairs as half of the class follows me.Ryan is the last person to do an interview.I watch him on th television in my room."Next up is Ryan!"Yells Caesar as Ryan walks onto stage.A tear drop runs down my face.I wipe it away trying to keep the rest back.Lindsay walks into my room.I immediately stand up with no hesitation.I walk out of my room."Kara wait!"I don't stop"Im so sorry!"I turn back to her.She start to cry as she sits on the bed.I sit next to her."Im so sorry Kara!"She says."Just....."Lindsay starts but I interrupt her "It's okay,"I say "He was going to find out sooner or later,but I was kinda hoping that it would be later instead of sooner but you know we can't get everything that we want right?"I ask."Right."She says standing up.We walk back to the stage as Ryan finishes his interview.I turn away."Oh come on Kara talk to him!!"Adrianna and Lindsay say.I turn to them as they push me closer to him and his friends push him over to me.I look down.Caesar walks off stage and calls the camera over.We don't say anything we look into each other's eyes."It feels like there's no one else here."I say as we exchange glances."Well that because we are......"He stops "Because we are ya know."He continues punching me in the arm.After that we all leave and go to are rooms.Im watching the old games tapes down stairs.Im alone for 2 hours until Ryan comes down."Hey."He says."Hey."I say as I turn to him.He sits down.I look back at the television."What are you watching?"He asks."Im watching the 12th hunger games."I tell him."Can you start it over?"He asks."Sure."I say rewinding the tape.We sit there for a couple of hours until I fall asleep.Ryan picks me up and brings me to my room.He lays me down on my bed and tucks me in.
