As the weeks went by you and gojo became closer. You wouldn't have thought you'd be willingly friends with the blue eyed fuckboy but here you were. He wasn't so bad when he wasn't actively trying to pursue you. He'd constantly visit the café, It was almost an everyday occurrence sometimes bringing his raven haired friend who you learned was suguru and you couldn't tell if he visited so often to annoy you or because of his undying love for sweets.

"You have to pay for that you know" you glared as gojo popped yet another chocolate chip cookie into his mouth

"Really? I thought they were complimentary like thanks for ordering have a complimentary cookie" he said with his mouth full

"We don't do complimentary cookies plus you haven't even ordered anything since you've gotten here now pay up I don't want these coming out my paycheck they're 5 dollars each"

"How many have you had?"

"I don't know maybe 4? No 5?

"God You're seriously going to get me fired" you said pinching your nosebridge

Most of your shifts were spent this way. Gojo would come in and talk your ear off while eating a shit ton of pastry. The only reason you probably haven't been reprimanded for slacking off by your boss was that she had developed a small crush on the white haired man. You'd noticed her eyeing him time to time not to mention she'd picked up on his love for sweets and always offered for him to "try this weeks special" to which he gladly accepted. It was pretty privilege at its finest.

"Im sure your manager won't mind she's so kind and gives me free samples all the time"

"Im sure she is" you said sarcastically as you finished making a cappuccino

"You busy tonight?"

"Why? So you can drag me to another party and ditch me?

"Maybe?"

"Unlike you my life doesn't revolve around frat parties"

"Ouch he said clutching his chest pretending to be wounded "You could've just said no"

"Now will you atleast bother me after my shift? I have customers to attend to"

"Awh you guys are adorable" Nobara said holding up the framed picture of you and Yuta

She'd come over pretty often and you truly didn't mind. You guys would talk for hours she always seemed to have something to talk about.You were glad to have her as a friend

"I guess" you said dryly

"What's wrong?" She asked, her voice laced with concern

Its been like this for a couple of weeks now. He's been less responsive no longer having quick replys it sometimes took him a whole day to respond. He stopped calling as often as he used to and whenever you called it always seem to be a "bad time for him" Maybe he was just busy with school. You didn't allow yourself to explore any other options and thoughts at the back of your mind.

"he's been I don't know...distant?"

"Don't worry he's probably just busy. You mentioned his major was in medicine right?"

She was probably saying this to soothe you but maybe she was right

"Yeah...thought so too" you said feeling a little relieved Nobara had similar thoughts.
Maybe you'd just been overthinking it

"Enough of me, How's it going with maki?"

At the sound of maki's name Nobara's face lit up with excitement "Really good! We actually have another date next Friday at some restaurant not too far from here. She said their Alfredo is amazing.
