i walk home and open the door "Where have you been toby!?" My father said a bit angrily "i've been hanging out with my new friend" i said calmly and smile thinking about ranboo "You could have texted me! i was worried sick!" my father said "i'm sorry father it wont happen again" i said quietly || Time skip: 2 hours, Tubbo's pov ||
"Me and your mother are going to get dinner together, uncle schlatt will take care of you" my father says to me while putting on his jacket "But dad! cant i go eat at someone else's place?" i say hoping i don't have to spend the night with my uncle. "No. our decision is final. your uncle will be here in 5 minutes, behave well" my father says a bit annoyed "Bye honey!" my mom says in her sweet voice "Bye mum! Bye dad." i say while sitting down on the sofa. i watch them leave the house, i sit there almost crying, i don't wanna see my uncle. he is always drunk or high, he always hits or just hurts me, thats why i don't want to see him. "Couldn't i just go to ranboo's place..?" i mumble to myself, seconds later the door opens, there he stands, the person i hate the most in the entire world. My uncle. the room soon fills with the discusting smell of alcohol. "Hello toby." he says

|| Ranboo's pov ||
i wake up and check the time, "shoot, its almost time we meet up again, i need to get ready still" i think to myself, i quickly get up and change, i eat something quickly, brush my teeth and then fix my hair a bit. i walk over to the spot me and tubbo picked out and see him already sitting there "Hello shorty" i say teasingly "Oh shut up." he says in return, i go to sit next to him, i see he has bruises and wounds scattered around his face, arms and hands "Oh my god- Tubbo what happend to you?" i say with a worried tone "...i don't wanna talk about it..." he says quietly wich only makes me worried more "could you tell me another time then...?" i say, he nodded and smiled softly

|| time skip: 4 hours. Tubbos pov ||
"Can i maybe stay over at your house...?" i ask ranboo, "if thats okay with your parents then yes" he says, i learned ranboo lives on his own, his parents sent him to his grandpa but his grandpa died so he now lives on his own. i quickly text my dad that i will be staying at a friends house "Lets go" i said while standing up and grabbing his hand, ranboo turned a bit pink for some reason.. eh whatever. "Lead the way boo!" i say "Boo?" ranboo says "Yep. thats ur new nickname wether you like it or not!" i smile softly

i walk in ranboos house after him and just look around "This looks so cozy boo!" i say while smiling, causing him to smile aswell

I've been spending most of my time with ranboo recently, father doesn't really approve of it, but that doesn't matter to me, aslong as i get to spend time with ranboo, im happy, i might admit i'm beginning to have a little crush on him...but he probably sees me as his friend..- i don't wanna mess things up, its just a tiny crush, i'll get over it. my father yelled my name calling me to come downstairs, i walk downstairs and see my dad looking angry "Toby. i don't want you hanging out with this "ranboo" person anymore." my father said "Why not!" i ask getting a bit angry "do not raise your voice at me young man." my father said a bit annoyed "Just tell me why i cant hang out with ranboo anymore!" i say knowing it wont stop me from being friends with ranboo, My father slaps me across my face. i quickly run upstairs and grab a bag tears threatening to spill out my eyes, i grab a few things and quickly run out the house "TOBY! GET BACK HERE!" my father yelled, i didnt stop running till i was at ranboo's house, i knock on the door, ranboo opens it and lets me in "Why'd you came here unannounced bee?" he asks me "my father... he told me to stop hanging out with you... i raised my voice a bit since you are probably one of my best friends at the moment..- and he didn't really like that... so i ran away" i say and started crying a bit "Shhhh its okay bee" ranboo says while pulling me in for a hug, i hug back and just let it all out..
