Chapter 1: well, that just happened

AN: nothing really much to say just trying something new and was inspired by the new Spider-Man movie. using spectacular Spider-Man as inspiration and making sure Peter Parker is still in high school.

to say it was a stressful day is an understatement. heck you can say it was the understatement of the year. after a long day taking on the sinister six and studying for his Spanish quiz, Peter Parker was definitely tired.

he's learned a lot over his last few years of Spider-Man, the usual you know. great power comes great responsibility and don't be a rhino in a china shop. "poor Mr. Lee, well at least in New York you have super villain insurance. still I wonder if that's going to be enough to cover the cost of rhino literally smashing through all of his collection of fine China" thought Peter as he's running to high school.

"I really hope that the rest of this day will go by in a breeze. after fighting a multiversal sinister six, I think I deserve no more surprises the rest of the day." Peter thought. Peter kept going until he saw the principal of the school standing in front of the front doors with a mad look on his face. "Parker, you're late.. again!" said the balding middle-aged man. " sorry Mr. Clark, I got caught up in an incident, you see Spider-Man was fighting a different looking sinister six and my boss wanted me to take some pictures of it-" Peter said before he was interrupted.

"save it, just forget I even asked, I'll email Mr Jameson myself. good luck on the test today." Peter began heading towards the front door until Mr Clark put his hand on his shoulder. "oh, I forgot to tell you this, but... you know that fancy School overseas in Japan, what was it, hops poke or something like that." he said. " Do you mean hope's peak?" asked Peter. "yeah that's it. when you see I sent them a letter of recommendation about you since you are one of our school's brightest, they sent some agents to interview me as well as some of your classmates and check your records. they wanted me to give you this." Mr Clark said as he gave Peter an envelope.

"Wait a minute, you mean you applied me to hope's peak academy without my knowledge?!" asked Peter surprised. "hey, I thought you would have liked it. School filled with geniuses and accomplished people. once you graduate from there you're pretty much guaranteed success, and I see a lot of great things in your future Parker... you are very lucky that you are getting A's in all your classes, otherwise we would have expel you for being so late all the time."

after taking the Spanish test, Peter waited outside in the hallway for his friends Harry and MJ to come out. Harry and Mary Jane have helped him a lot even after his girlfriend Gwen Stacy's death, so he was really happy for them when they started dating. "hey what's up Pete, you look like you just been visited by the Ghost of Christmas future" said Harry Osborne. "yeah, let me guess it has something to do with Jay Jonah Jameson doesn't it?" asked Mary Jane Watson.

"no unfortunately it's not that simple. you see Mr Clark has applied me to hope's peak academy." Peter told them as he showed them the envelope he's gotten. "well, what are you waiting for opening up!" said MJ excitingly. he did exactly that and the words he read the following

Dear Mr Parker

after talking to your principal and checking your is in great honor that we tell you that you are here by accepted into the prestigious academy of Hope's peak, our programs are completely funded by multiple governments so you can completely embrace your talent as the ultimate scientist. we cannot express how excited we are to have you at our academy here in Tokyo Japan next week. we have already paid for your flights so you have no need to worry about that.

Peter stared at the letter in awe, then read the whole thing again to make sure that his eyes were playing tricks on him. "well congrats on transferring schools, tiger." said the perky voice of Mary Jane Watson. "congratulations Pete, a lot of people have dreamed about going to hope's peak. ummm, Pete? is something the matter?" said Harry worryingly after looking at his childhood friend.

"it's nothing, it's just we've been together for a very long time and for me going away and being the new kid for once is a very scary thought." "but not as scary as looking for the lizard in the dark maze like sewers" Peter said and thought. "I'm sure you'll do fine tiger, besides what's the worst that could happen?" said MJ.

later after school.

Peter went home to his Aunt May's apartment. "Aunt May, I'm home." said Peter as he close the door behind him. "I'm in the kitchen Peter. oh and Mr. Kirigiri called and said you got accepted to that school in Japan. I have to say I'm proud of you, ultimate scientist."

"wow, that was fast!" thought Peter. Peter then he went to explain how his day went leaving out the parts where he was Spider-Man of course. his aunt was very excited to hear that he was accepted in a prestigious academy overseas for gifted teenagers. the next day Peter had a lot of stuff he had to do.

he had to give Ben Riley a call to ensure that New York still had a protector when he was gone to Japan for a while, he had to turn in his resignation to the daily bugle, Jay Jonah Jameson was happy for Peter getting into that big school heck he even published it in the paper. the headline read. American student and once photographer for the daily bugle, Peter Parker, going to Hope's peak. that was all on the second page. the front page was all about Spider-Man and The sinister seven causing millions of dollars in property damage. old JJ even thrown Peter a last minute farewell party with help from his friends and aunt.

one week later

here he was standing at the front Gate of this school. Peter was nervous, not like spider Sense constantly ringing nervous, but close to it. "come on Peter, everything will be fine." he said to himself. little did he know that this will be the start of one of the craziest chapters in his life...
