I awoke in a dark room with my hands tied behind my back. It took my mind a moment to process what had happened. I don't remember ever getting out of the car. He must have knocked me out with something. I needed to get out of here, back home. I took a look at my surroundings, and stifled a gasp as I noticed the many bodies littering the room. Most were girls, all around my age, with ropes bounding their wrists together. There were also a few boys, though they looked younger, maybe 8 or 9. Not many people were awake, I seemed to be one of the first. But that didn't last long as more and more people began to open their eyes and look around with shocked expressions. There was a boy next to me who had a huge gash on his forehead. As I looked closer, I realized that he was about my age, maybe even a bit older. He had sandy blonde hair and ghostly white skin, probably from blood loss.

I watched as his eyes slowly opened. They were an emerald green. I felt that I had seen them somewhere before. He sat up and we made contact in dim light from the window high on the wall above us. A window...Yes! A window!! A way out! Maybe... My eyes left the boy as I started to think of ways I might be able to escape, that was, until, I saw the window. A small window shown maybe 20 or 30 feet in the air. There was no way we'd be able to make it out. My attention went back to the boy, his attention had been on the window above as well, until he had realized me looking at him. He studied me intently. "Blue," He said, "Your eyes...", He trailed off. "Green," I said, "Your eyes are green," I then made a sudden realization. He seemed to make the same realization as me because he suddenly burst out quietly, "Dawn?!?".
