Chapter five

"It was the last day of school, start of summer, me and Susan we... we were together, as a couple, secretly and...."
Sierra runs back to the principals office, she can't remember when the last time was she ran that fast. She doesn't even knock.
She runs back in that room.
Taking down paxtons smartphone from the button that makes this conversation public.
"The....the....whole school....heard...us" Sierra explains breathlessly
"I'm gonna leave...the room again" she adds and goes out of the office.

Waiting infront of the office, Ben, of course it's always Ben.
"Are you good? That sounded serious" he asked concerned.
"Yeah it's fine, i'm fine" she answered.
Together they walk back to class.
When they see Sierra, Fabiola,Eleanor and Devi all stand up and walk towards Her.
Swaddling Sierra into a big hug.
"I'm great guys" she explained.
The class goes over and school is done.
Sierra goes home and remembers the class test tomorrow.

She walks to Bens house. 03:37 pm. She arrives.
She knocks and patty opens the door.
"Sierra" she says in a calming tone.
"Patty" Sierra whispers, she's putting her finger over her mouth, showing that she wants to scare Ben. Patty laughs and forms the word "room" with her lips. Sierra smiles thankfully.
Climbing these never ending stairs and sneaking on her tiptoes, she finally arrived infront of Bens door.
Taking out her phone to record his reaction while scaring him,
she starts filming.
Suddenly she listens carefully, not that he is doing something serious and she is interrupting him.

She hears something else. Shira and Ben fighting.
"You are overreacting" he yells and she answers: "you clearly like her"
Who are they talking about?
"Yes as a friend" he tells her
"No as more, the way you look at her, friends don't look at friends that way" she explains.
Silence. Silence. Silence. Deadly silence.
"I guess you're not saying anything because you know I am right" shira says with a quiet voice but loud enough for Sierra to hear.

"Listen Shira" he starts. "You stopped calling me babe, the moment she walked in your life, weeks ago everything was perfect" she said.
Are they talking about Sierra? Oh lord. Did she ruin their relationship? She never thought shira could care that much about Ben.
"Shira, I really really like you" he starts again but gets interrupted
"But you love her" she says and Sierra hears how she walks towards the door.
"Shira!" He yells really loud now.
Shira turns around now.

"Was i never good enough?" She asks quietly, Ben responds something, Sierra can't hear.
"Did you two kissed?" She asks louder.
He shakes his head.
"No we didn't, because we are friends" he says again. Shira doesn't trust this. Shira doesn't trust them. And she is right. They look at each other a little too long.
"You say you're friends because you think she doesn't want more, Benjamin, I saw how she looks at you, that girl is in love with you" shira says and turns back around to walk out of that door. Sierra reacts fast and can hide herself in a room that looks like a bathroom, how many bathrooms does this family own?

"Shira" Sierra hears Ben yell again.
Oh. My. Lord. Does their conversation ends at any point.
"Get your girl, I'm sick of being the second choice" she says.
"I'll give you a call alright?" He tells shira.
"Alright Benjamin, maybe in another lifetime" she stopped calling him "Bennie"
Sierra ruined their relationship.
"Patty!" Ben yells downstairs.
Sierra can't come out of the bathroom ever.

"Where did she go?" Patty asked.
"She left, we broke up" Ben admitted.
"You and sierra?" Patty asked confused
"No me and shira" he says.
"And where is sierra?" She asks him concerned
"She was here?" Ben replies hopefully
"She went upstairs" patty tells him.
"Maybe she's gone too" he says sad
"I'm gonna get a shower" Ben tells her.
Great when he is showering Sierra can leave this bathroom. Sierra is IN an BATHROOM with a SHOWER.
Let's hope he doesn't choose this bathroom.
