Of course, I had the dreams. There was no avoiding them. Just colors, then sudden scenery changes. Trees, meadows, oceans, and darkness. Why? How should I know? I just knew that things always got pretty weird toward the end. My brother, too, talked about a similar dream. It was weird, but I had the feeling that we were having the same vision.

Every time I would wake up, sweat always drenched me through my pajamas and halfway through the sheets and blanket. Gross. The little brother always told me that he woke up soaked in cold sweat, which worried me as well as he. Those stupid dreams hadn't come often, but lately, they came almost every single night, sometimes to the point of appearing every time we fell asleep, including short naps. I've been thinking about going to see a therapist about this stupid thing. I've noticed that I haven't slept well for the past month and a half. Olivia, one of my friends, has noticed my dark circles, and I've noticed that she's got dark circles as well. Yeah, she's abused, but she's never had dark circles before.
Kinti, too, has the dark circles. Maybe this is just a thing that's happening to everyone, maybe this is just a normal thing.

I hoped it would be a normal day, and so far it was. So far. I still had Sociology with Kinti, Olivia and another friend, Alyx in eighth period, the last class of the day. The interesting fact was that old Mr. Shields was talking about something he didn't believe in, which some would compare to sin. In my opinion, though, if a teacher doesn't believe in what he teaches, he's not a teacher, but that's besides the point.

Mr. Shields decided to preach to us about ghosts today. I saw the look on Olivia's face, and then, it started.
