A/N: this Chapter will included the Race but I will be skipping the Calvary Battle with a summary of what happened

We were sitting in the changing room getting ready when Todoroki walked up to me.

Y/n: need something Todoroki? 'spending time with Miriko has done wonders for my speech and confidence'

Todoroki: you are the strongest person here which is why I will defeat you only using my ice

Bakugo: tch IM THE STRONGEST!

Y/n: how will you beat me at half power?

Bakugo: DON'T IGNORE ME!

Todoroki: I don't need his power

Todoroki walks out the changing room when our class got called.

Midorya: his power?

Y/n: something doesn't feel right about what he said

Mina: well let's go guys?

Uraraka: let's do this!!

We all walk out to the entrance to the arena where Todoroki was waiting so we can all walk out as one.

Midorya: this is were it all starts

We all walk out and the crowd cheers for us.

Mic: EVERYONE give a shout-out too class 1A!!

As we made our way too the middle of the arena the other classes were called out and some gave us death stares.

Midnight: hello everyone~!

Some students and crowd members got excited at the appearance of Midnight, some more then other.

Sero: does she realize what she is wearing

Mineta: I love this school

Midnight cracked her whip and got the crowd to quiet down.

Midnight: alright to start us of will the first year representative come on up and give us a speech!?

I stood there not realizing what she said as everyone looked at me some with glares

Y/n: w-wait me!?

Midnight: yes come on up dear tell the world something special

Y/n: T-The world!?

I shakely walked up the the stage and stood infront of the mic nervously.

I look up at everyone then look at the screen to see my frightened face. Everyone was quiet waiting for what I had to say but suddenly.

???: Hey brat what's with the look don't you want to be a hero tell them what you told me!!

I look in the crowd in the front row to see Miriko with on foot on the railing yelling at me. I give a small smile and take a deep breath.

Y/n: I want to be a hero

Everyone's eyes that were once on Miriko were now on me.

Y/n: not just any hero, a hero for the people who don't have one, for the people that society deem useless or villainess. I know what it's like to be treated as less then trash, to be laughed at by your peers and I don't want that for others it's worse then death.

The crowd was stunned for my words so I finish of with.

Y/n: I want to be the light hope in the darkness that consumes the lonely and misunderstood

After a second the crowd began to cheer my name and midnight had a large blush and began too squirm.
