Chapter nine

Everleighs Pov

After a really long night I woke up to my phone going off. I see Roxy is calling me. ''Hey rox.'' I look at the time and see it's 10AM. I sit up in my bed. ''Hey you sure you don't want me to pick you up?'' ''I'm sure see you at 11AM.'' ''Okay just be careful and don't get into random fights.'' Funny. ''I won't.'' ''Bye.'' ''See ya.''

After I hang up the phone I get out of bed and walk over to the bathroom. I decide to take a quick shower and wash my hair. I brush my wavy hair out and get under the shower. I wash myself and my hair. I dry the shower up and get out to dry myself off.

I put my hair up in the towel and put on some body lotion. I put on matching black lingerie and looked in the hallway to see if I wouldn't run into my brother naked. When I made it to my room limbing way more than yesterday, but it's fine. I walked over to my closet.

I put on my black ripped jeans and yes it was very painful to put my pants on not gonna lie. I also put on a plain black shirt with long sleeves and a gray Adidas shirt with short sleeves over it. Yes it's Tommy's shirt, but who cares.

I let my hair down in its natural state so it can dry properly. I check my phone for the time and see it's 10.30AM. I have to go. Put my phone in my back pocket and walked down the stairs. ''Morning Ev.'' ''Morning.'' ''Is that my shirt?'' ''Maybe.'' I give him a small smile.

''Where you going?'' ''To have lunch with Rox.'' ''Okay, have fun and if you see that guy again, call me. Is Roxy picking you up?'' '' No I'm walking.'' ''Evie'' ''No I don't want to hear it. Bye. See ya.'' ''Be Careful.'' I roll my eyes and put on my withe sneakers without tying them. I walk out the door.

While walking I look at my phone and see it's already 10.50AM. Let's just text Rox quickly that I'm still coming. 'Hey I'm omw.' Almost immediately she answers. 'Hey no problem. I'm almost there, I'll just wait.' 'Okay.' I try to walk faster, but my knee won't work with me and it only hurts more with every step I take.

After a painfully and unbelievably long walk which felt like hours, but was actually 20 minutes. I finally walked into the café. I see Roxy sitting at a table all the way in the back so I walk over to her. ''Hey Rox.'' ''Hey. Oh My god. Did you get into a fight again? What happened to your face?'' ''Long story, but I did not get into a fight.'' Well kinda not, but she doesn't need to know that.

I see Dante walking towards our table. Oh god this will be fun. ''Angel.'' He looks at me. ''Handsome.'' Yeah I decided on a nickname too. ''That's a nice one.'' ''I didn't want it to go to your head and feed your big ego, but it's already too late for that I guess.'' ''It is.'' He grins. I just shake my head.

Roxy looks at me then Dante and then me again with an amusing smile. Not again. ''What would you ladies like to drink?'' I look at Roxy, but she's still looking at the menu. ''I want an ice tea. Sparkling.'' He nods and looks at Roxy. ''Rox.'' She looks up from the menu. ''Ow sorry. I want a sprite. Thanks.'' Dante nods and walks away. I wonder where Andreas is.

''What was that?'' Roxy asks with a big smile. ''What was what?'' What the fuck is she talking about. ''You clearly like each other.'' ''We do not.'' What the hell did she get in her head? ''Babes he called you angel and you called him handsome. Don't tell me the chemistry I see is fake.'' ''Shut up.'' I give her a deadly glare, but she just laughs and shakes her head.

We both look at the menu to decide on what we are going to eat. Dante comes back with our drinks. ''Do you two know what you 0want to eat or should I come back later?'' "I don't know yet.'' Roxy and I say at the same time and Dante just shakes his head while we both start laughing.

''Can you come back later?'' Roxy asks. ''Sure.'' And he walks away. ''He is handsome tho.'' ''Roxy.'' I say warning her. ''You guys would be so cute together.'' ''Roxy I swear to god I will kill you if you don't shut up right now.'' She puts her hands up in surrender and laughs. I love my best friend, but sometimes you just want to. You know.

''What are you getting?'' I ask. ''Uhhm I think the omelet. You?'' ''I'll take the grilled cheese. I'll walkover to the bar so he knows what we want.'' ''Sure.'' I stand up and walk to the bar. Behind the bar is a young guy with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He kinda looks like Andreas. Isn't he too young to be a bartender? He looks 16. Whatever.

''Can I help you?'' He asks in a bored tone. I already don't like this guy's attitude. ''Yeah. I just wanted to place in our order.'' ''Can't you wait till someone comes to take your order?'' What the fuck. ''No I can't wait why the hell can't you just put it in.'' ''You don't need to get all violent. Just wait til your order is taken it's not that hard.'' Okay I'm done with this guy's attitude.

''Violent? You wanna see me get violent, because I will show you how fucking violent I can ge you arrogant boy. Just put in the fucking order.'' I put my hair in a high ponytail just in case. ''I told you to fucking wait.'' I really wanna hit this boy. ''Evie.'' Roxy yells clearly, noticing what's going on. Immediately when Roxy screams my name Dante appears out of nowhere. Where the hell did he come from?

He looks at me and then at the other guy. ''She tried to attack me and was very aggressive towards me.'' What the actual fuck. I just gave him a deadly glance. ''What happened, angel?'' ''I just wanted to put in our orders, but I clearly couldn't do that and had to fucking wait.'' ''Just calm down angel. What did you want to eat?'' I am fucking calm.

''I wanted the grilled cheese and for Rox I wanted the omelet.'' ''Okay I'll put it in right away. Just sit back downI i'll bring it to you. Do you want anything else?'' Yeah hit that boy. ''No thanks.'' I walk back to the table and go sit down. ''What the hell was going on?'' ''Nothing big the boy was acting up and he got on my nerves.'' She just shakes her head.

''How late do you start tomorrow?'' ''I don't know yet I have to go back to my therapist tommorow, because Thomas made a fucking appointment for me and he even took a few hours of of work so he could go with me.'' ''Ow I'm sorry Ev. I know how much you hate going there. How late?'' ''10AM.''

Dante walks towards us with two plates. ''I have an omelet and a grilled cheese.'' He puts the plates down. ''Thanks.'' Roxy says and kicks me under the table when I don't say anything. ''Auw. Thanks.'' ''Are you okay angel?'' ''I'm fine.'' I say while giving him a small smile and he walks away.

''How late do you start?'' ''First period.'' ''Nice.'' We finished eating our food and talked about school and stuff, but it was already 3PM so we decided we should probably go home. ''My treat I'll go pay.'' ''No you don't have to do that.'' ''Rox don't argue with me on this.'' She sights. ''Fine. I'm going to the toilet.'' I nod and walk over to the bar where that boy is standing.

''What do you want?'' This bitch should I just hit him like just one little punch. No? Okay. ''I would like to pay.'' ''You don't have to pay.'' ''What the fuck are you talking about? Where is your boss?'' What the hell. ''He is in his office.'' ''Can you get him?'' ''No.'' Why is this boy so annoying? ''Fine I'll go to him myself.''

I walk towards the bar into the dark hallway. ''You can't do that.'' He jells after me. ''I can't? Watch me.'' I knock on Dante's office door. ''Come in.'' I push the black door open. ''Angel?'' He asks, confused. ''Yeah hi. Why won't the boy let me pay?'' ''Because I told him you didn't have to.'' ''Why?'' He shrugs. ''Well thanks I guess, but I'm still going to.''

''No you're not. It's on the house and that's final.'' I sight. ''Well thank you then.'' ''No problem angel.'' He is still sitting at his desk with his laptop in front of him, but he is focused on me. His beautiful emerald green eyes look into my ocean blue one's. ''When will I be seeing you again?''

Should I give this guy my number? Not really. I think for a moment. ''Give me a good reason to comeback.'' ''A date.'' Ha ha. Wait what. ''With you?'' He nodds. ''Here?'' ''Here or somewhere else.'' This hot dude wants to go on a date with me? ''Are you joking?'' ''No I'm dead sirius angel.'' ''Okay.'' ''Can I have your number?''
