2 - the game

the bell rang and everyone rushed out of class. i watched as mitch and his friends frantically ran through the hall. before i could think anything else about him, sabrina poked my side.

"hey! i heard that they are doing a freshman girl hazing thing. wanna check it out, but from a distance?", she questioned.

"yea, sure."

we walked out of school. there were papers all over the floor, i kind of felt bad for the janitor. it was cool to see them float in the air though. We left the building and walked over to the sidewalk on the side of the school.

there were two big trucks with freshman girls sitting in the beds of the trucks. senior girls were going around and stuffing pacifiers in girl's mouths.

out of the corner of her eye, Jodi spotted Sabrina and i watching them from the sidewalk. Jodi Kramer, Mitch's sister. I think she's the prettiest girl in the entire town. She is in Kevin's grade and has always been the nicest of Kevin's friends that i've met.

"get ready, sabrina.", i whispered.

"hey you, c'mere.", she said from the truck.

we stayed in our spot on the sidewalk.

"you!", she said, walking over to us.

"i know you Jane, but who are you?", she asked Sabrina.

"Uh, nobody. I mean, i wasn't gonna..."

"are you a freshman?"

"yea...", sabrina replied.

"well ladies", Jodi said, putting her arms around our shoulders, " are you in or are you out?"

i didn't say anything.

"In.", Sabrina smiled and shrugged.

"jane?", Jodi said looking at me. I looked down at my perfect outfit, which i knew would soon be ruined.

"In."

Jodi led us over to the truck filled with girls and we stepped up into the truck bed.

"Open!"

We both opened our mouths and she stuck a pacifier in them. The trucks left not much sooner. It was a very short ride and we ended up at an empty parking lot. I looked over and there were some cars in the lot. They all had older boys leaned up against them.

great, this was just what i needed to kick summer off.

The trucks parked and all of the freshman girls filed out. We all headed over to a specific area of the lot, just in front of all of the parked cars. I could easily tell between the seniors and the freshman. All the senior girls had a devious look on their face. They were also wearing senior shirts but that was beside the point.

"ALRIGHT YOU LITTLE FRESHMAN BITCHES!", a senior yelled.

"AIR RAID!!"

everyone got down on their stomachs on the hot black-top. we were quickly scolded and she yelled at us to get up. We did another air raid which was again, not to her satisfaction. She kept calling us names like bitches and sluts. We did yet another air raid, only this time, we were told to remain laying down. i knew they had something, something bad, planned.

"you love us, smile. you love us!", she shouted before walking over to the trucks and grabbing stuff. bottles of ketchup, mustard, bags of flour.

jesus christ, what did i get myself into??

The senior girls started running around and smearing all of the condiments and food on us. Sabrina got loads of oats thrown on her. I had a lot of flour dumped on me.
