"It's time to begin. I am Ibiki Morino, your proctor. And from this moment, your worst enemy."
Everyone got silent as some gasp was heard from some of the candidates as they were nervous. The only sound heard was the sound of the chairs people were sitting on.
The instructor pointed at the three
sound ninjas, causing them to jump.
"First, you candidates from the Village
Hidden in the Sound, knock it off. Who told you you could fight? You want to be failed before we've even begun?" He demanded.'Those guys deserve to be failed attacking someone for no reason, especially when the exam hasn't even started yet.' Kei thought as she helped Kabuto stand up.
The Sound ninja, with his face bandaged entirely except for his left eye, spoke up, "I'm sorry. I was excited since this is my first exam."
Kei, Akira, and Kaito looked at each other and nodded, knowing that the Sound ninja would become serious trouble if they let our guard down.
Ibiki looked around the room at the other Genin before speaking once. "I'll say this once, so listen up. There will be no fighting between candidates. No attacking each other without the permission of a proctor. And even then, the use of fatal force is strictly prohibited. Anyone who even thinks of messing with me will be disqualified immediately. Got it?"
Another male Sound ninja chuckled lowly with a cocky grin, "This exam seems so soft and easy."
'Wow, he thinks just because he can't kill that the exams are easy.' Kei thought, glance ing at the ninja.
She could hear the Chunin who stood behind Ibiki laughing with their mouths closed. Their gaze told everyone the Chunin Exams would be more complicated than they thought. And that the sound ninja was indeed wrong.
Ibiki added with a straight face." We will now begin the first exam of the Chunin Exam. Turn in your applications, and take one of these numbers tags," he paused as he held up a white square card with the number [1] written on it. "And sit where the number tells you to. Then we will pass out the papers for the written exam."
"The what? Did he say...?"Naruto voiced out." Written?"
Kei then noticed one of the Chunin hold up a stack of paper, now understanding why fighting wasn't loud during the first exam.
"NO! NOT A WRITTEN TEST! NO WAY!" Naruto shouted with his palms placed directly on the floor. The look of utter surprise was shown on his face, clear as day.
Everyone gave their application forms to the Chunins and, in return, were given their number tags.

Kei looked at her number tag and saw that she had the number [74]. She looked around the room and noticed that the Chunin had placed the same white square cards with numbers on the tables.
'So we have to sit where our number is. That means every teammate will be separated randomly.' Lei thought, looking at the tables.
"Hey, Kei," A voice said from behind Kei.
Kei turned around to see Akira and Kaito heading her way, their hands grasped on their white tags.
Akira smiled at Kei," Good luck. I'm sure you will pass this stage."
Kei returned the smile."Thanks, I'm sure you two will pass as well."
"Umm, not me," Kaito admitted as he scratched his neck. He smiled unconfidently."Out of the three of us, I'm the dumbest at this kind of exam."
