What a jerk (Vance Hopper x Reader)

It was a Sunday night and you were sitting in your room crying because your boyfriend Bruce had been pronounced missing 3 days ago. You just laid in bed all day for the last 3 days not wanting to do anything. All you could do was think of all your memories that you and Bruce had together. But your thoughts were interrupted when you heard small footsteps coming towards your room, 3 small knocks, and your sister's voice on the other side of the door. "Y/n me and Finney are going to the grab n go and you're coming with us" "Gwen I don't want to go anywhere right now" you say trying to hide the fact that you had been crying. Gwen opes your door and enters your room. "Well you have to come with us because your the oldest and we need supervision." "Can't you go another day. It's literally 8:30pm I don't feel like going anywhere." You say annoyed, not wanting to leave your bed. "Dad said you have to bring us." Gwen says with a smile "I hate you so much right now." Gwen smiles at you and leaves your room to go tell Finney that you're bringing them.

You stand up from your bed and start to put a little makeup on, even though it's like 8 at night, you didn't want people to see you like this. After you put on your makeup you went to the front of the house with Gwen and Finney and started walking to the grab n go. "Do you guys have money" you ask sounding tired and upset. "Yeah" Finney replies. The grab n go wasn't far from your house. It was like 4 blocks away so it wasn't a super long walk. Finny and Gwen were talking about something but you weren't paying attention, all you could think about was Bruce.

Just then your thoughts were again interrupted when a black van slowly started following behind you guys. You tried to see who was driving the van but the windows were tinted so you couldn't see anything. Finney and Gwen noticed the van too and started running. You followed after them and you all ran into the grab n go out of breath. Finney and Gwen looked around for stuff they wanted to buy while you stood in one spot waiting for them. Your eyes wandered all around the store until you saw the last person you wanted to see, Vance hopper.

You and Vance had been enemies ever since first grade when you broke his nose because he was pissing you off. Ever since then Vance has hated you but you couldn't care less. He always messes with you in some of your classes and in the hallway. Sometimes you wonder if Vance's favorite thing to do is annoy you.

You quickly look away from Vance, which is at the pinball machine (of course) hoping that he won't see you. You walk over to Gwen and Finney. "Hurry up I wanna get home" "okay, okay" Gwen says. Gwen and Finney pay for their food and quickly leave the store with you following behind them.
