"Flight 104A going to San Diego, is asking for all passengers to line up by the gate now. The boarding will start in just a moment," it spoke over the speakers, which made both my sister and my jump up from our seats and to the gate. Two people had come before us to the gate, but quickly there started gathering people in something that looked like a line.
After waiting in less than one minute we got asked for our boarding passes and passports, which they got to see, before we were on the plane. We walked down to the plane, and quickly found our seats.
We both had one suitcase, and a backpack putted into it, so we only had to deal with hand luggage, which I always found nice. That meant you did not have to deal with your luggage getting lost.
The plane started moving at about 10am, and I looked out of the window, to see the ground slowly and steady get further and further away.
I got a shock when April grabbed my arm, and started shaking it a little. "What?" I looked at her really annoyed, before looking where she was looking. My eyes stopped at a boy with blond hair and a boy with brown hair. They were sitting two isles infant of us, but on the other side of the plane. Jack and Jack. We were in the same plane as Jack and Jack! What!
"Do you see them?" April pulled a little more in my arm, before she nodded towards them.
"I do. I do." I swear if she was not here to confirm the fact that it was true, I would think that I was dreaming again.
I watched as April unlocked her phone and took a few photos, before getting on the planes WiFi, and putting it onto Twitter. I stood up and walked pass April, before heading to the toilet. Actually I did not need to go to the toilet, I just wanted a better look at Jack and Jack. Like, it is not everyday you get to sit on a plane with them.
I went into the toilet and did my thing. As I walked out of the toilet I saw Jack and Jack, still sitting in their seats. When I walked towards my own seat again, I wanted to get their attention.
When I got besides their seats, I acted like I tripped and fell down onto Jack G's lap. "Oh my God, I am so sorry," I said to him before standing up again. "Hey, you are Jack and Jack." I continued and tried not to fangirl.
"Yeah, that you are right about-" Jack Johnson said, "-and who are you, if I may ask."
"My name is Rory and I am actually going to the MagCon tour, to see you guys, together with my sister." I pointed down at April, when I said the last part. She sat with big eyes, just staring at me.
"Dope, so are you going to the meet and greet?" Jack G asked.
"Yeah-" I started our, "-we would not be flying all the way to San Diego, just for the show."
"Cool, then we will meet you there?" Jack J said like it was some sort of question.
"Yeah, I cannot wait!" Ups, I think I did a little fangirl there... Whatever.
"Which hotel are you staying at?" They asked while I walked towards my sister.
"The Hotel, it is quite a funny name," I giggled to myself, as I sat down. She looked amazed at me, I do not see why she does not just go over to them and talk; kind of what I did.
"You actually talked to them?" She asked when I was back in my seat, I just started to nod. "You actually talked to them!" She then whisper-shouted.
"Yeah I did, and you can do the same thing, if you want to," I said with a big smile on my lips.
"Hey," a voice came from beside us - it was Jack J, "we are actually staying at the same hotel, do you mind taking a cab with us, then we could maybe hang out."
I nodded, "sure that would be awesome, but we actually have a car rented - you can drive with us though." I paused and looked at April, "this is my sister by the way, she is a big fan of yours. Or you to be exact." April turned her head looking a little angry at me. I was just telling the truth. No harm in that.
"Do you mind if I sit down?" He suddenly asked, and without a word April started scooting closer to me. "Thanks," Jack said, when we both had moved for him. "So," Jack started out, "what are you most excited about, now that you are flying to San Diego?"
April looked at me, with help written all over her face - I guess she was kind of fangirling on the inside, but did not want to spoil it with Jack J. "I guess it is the MagCon Tour for both of us. Our parents got us tickets a few months ago, and we have been excited ever since," I told him and April just sat nodding her head up and down.
"If I may ask the both of you, then what age are you," he mostly looked at April - I guess because of the fact, that she had not said anything yet.
"I am sixteen," she said slowly and very quietly.
"And I am seventeen," I told him with a lot more confidence. Jack sat nodding before he stood up again, "is something up?"
"No, it is just Jack and Sammy - they are calling at me," he nodded towards the two boys waving towards Jack. I had not been noticed that Sam Wilkinson was sitting in front of them.
"Bye," April said and waved as Jack walked down to where they were seated.
"I hope not," he turned around and smirked at us. What the hell! I was Jack Johnson! I had never in a million years imagined that I would be hearing him say that to me.
I looked at April, who did not that her eyes away from Jack. "I am sixteen," I mocked her, "bye." She gave me her attention, "was it really the best you could say to him?" She ignored me and plugged her headphones into her phone. I took mine up from my pocket and started listening to music.
"Watch the sun hit the water as the waves curl, no plans but a drink in my hand, no shoes, no shirt, swimsuit, ray bans. Get away from it all no one know where we're hiding, come on baby girl the water's fine just dive in, ain't a dream so open you eyes, we're just living in paradise," I listened to the rhythm through my ear plucks, and lean backwards in the seat... Before I knew it we were on the ground again and the sun was shining through the window.
"Wakey wakey Rory, we are in San Diego," April said and pulled me hard by the arm. I really wanted to slap her but reminded myself that you cannot use violence against underaged people. "Come on now," she said and stood up, "I do not think Jack and Jack will wait for us," she reminded me and started to take our suitcases down. It was first when I stood up, that I noticed the fact that everyone had left the plane already. Also I could not get over the fact, that I was going to go in a car with Jack and Jack - like what. And we stayed at the same hotel - and April and I were going to their show in San Diego. I would never in a million years have imagined that!
"Come on now, sis, we need to get out," April called after me - I had certainly zoned out..
"I am coming," I said to he and she laughed, sighted and shook her head. "If it any help then I thought about you," I lied and she knew it, which made her laugh even more.
"Oh, shut up," she said and walked out of the plane into the sun shine. We were not even standing on the ground yet, and I already loved San Diego. I follow April down the stairs to see Jack and Jack standing and it looked like they were waiting for us.
"Did you guys get lost in the plane or something?" Jack G asked us when we stood next to them.
I was just about to answer, because of how April acted when Jack J last talked to us. But April actually came before me: "No, not really - Rory was just kind of a sleepyhead." It made both of them laugh and we started our walk into the airport arrival hall.
"No judgements, alright?" I cleared and we all laughed once again. By far this was crazy; and I think it could - maybe - keep on going this way. Especially if the Jack's wanted to stay in contact with April and I; 'cause no doubt we would.
