It was a nice day outside, the flowers were open and the sun was shining, but I was stuck inside at another world conference with everyone yelling and throwing things, as usual. I tried to calm them down believe me but nothing seems to work. After trying I went and sat down in the corner just to gather my thoughts, while watching Francis and Arthur in another fight, Veneziano waving his white flag, Ivan hugging Raivis tightly, and Ludwig yelling at the top of his lungs. Hi, I'm Victoria a small island country and this is when my wild life started.

After about an hour and a half it was time for lunch, so she walked alone to the kitchen as usual. Half way there she heard a voice behind her.

"Wait, Bella!" She turned around and saw Veneziano another country who was a lot bigger than she was. He was wearing his normal blue suit that he hates, his hair was nice and neat except for that random curl that stuck out on the left side of his head. He may be older but he still acted somewhat childish.

"Umm okay, Mr. Italy." she waited until he comes next to her before she started walking again toward the kitchen.

"You don't have to call me, Mr. Italy, Veneziano is just fine."

"I was being polite, Veneziano."

"I know your a nice girl and pretty too." He said a little flirtatious.

"Thank you." She said blushing a little bit not looking at him to hide it.

When they got to the kitchen they had a large selection of food from beef kabobs to lemon custard and a plate of pasta reserved just for Veneziano. Victoria walked up and prepare her plate with fruits and veggies mostly. Veneziano already got his pasta and saved a seat for her next to him at a table with Ludwig and Ivan on the opposite side. Everyone else was sitting at different tables eating their own food.

"Thank you Veneziano that sweet of you" as she sits next to him.

"Hallo, who are you I never see you at the world conferences?" Said Ludwig a little mad thinking I'm an impostor

"Yes little one what is you name?" Said Ivan softly

"I'm Victoria I've been a country for a little while now but no one notices me really."

After a few apologies and a plate of food we all became good friends until Francis came over to protect me as a father would to his daughter. We had to continue the world meeting once again because nothing got done last time, and just like last everyone was fighting again. So having enough fighting for one day she walked outside to the forest right behind the meeting place. No one noticed she was gone but she kept walking deeper and deeper into the woods. She liked the forest it was another home to her, she knew it like the back of her hand. After a few yards she headed into a thicket completely camouflaged between the trees no one else can see. She moved a few piles of leaves that fell from the trees above her head and enters. After dodging a few low branches she came to a large open area with jars full of fresh meat and cooked meat, a few pelts laying on the ground, and a homemade bow and arrows in a quiver sitting in the corner near the entrance.

Back at the meeting Ivan was getting tired of all the fighting and heads outside to get some fresh air. Ivan was a tall, broad man bigger than everyone else by far. He was a quiet man alway kept everything to himself. For some reason he always had a long scarf even in the dead heat of summer. He walked around the house finding something to do, but something caught his eye, the grass was pushed down heading to the forest, and he starts to follow the trail as it starts to disappear Russia was starting to get lost. Even though he was lost he still walked around trying to find a way out. Victoria heard a twig snap outside so scared she grabbed her bow and an arrow and walked outside, she drew the bow with the arrow pointed right at Ivan and shot it just missing his head and hitting the tree behind him. "Whoa what was that for?" said Ivan with a little fear in his eyes. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I thought you were a bear." She said trembling knowing what Ivan can do when he's mad. "It's okay at least you missed me but not by much." he turned and pulled the arrow out of the tree and walked to Victoria. "But I must say your a really good shot I could never do that." He handed the arrow back to her. "Thank you but come with me." She headed into the thicket once again with Ivan following right behind her. Victoria didn't hit her head on the low branches, Ivan wasn't as lucky.

"Welcome to my thicket it may not be much but it's like another home." She said setting her bow and arrows down and then sitting on one of the many furs. Ivan finally came in and saw everything he stood there frozen in awe because of the sheer size of the thicket and everything that was inside of it. "Well come and sit Ivan there is really no reason to be standing up." Ivan still in awe sat down next to Victoria looking around at the pots and furs on the ground. "Want some meat I cooked it last night so its fresh" She said holding some meat out for him while eating some for herself. Ivan finally coming back to the real world he grabbed the meat and stated to eat it. "Thank you Victoria and how did you find this place?" As he takes a bit of the meat.

"Well I was just walking around and I saw a bear so I ran in here after that I made it into another home. I made the bow and arrows myself and gathered the meat and furs from the animals around here." She said with a little confidence "And why did you come to the forest instead of being in the meeting?"

Ivan's jaw dropped thinking that a little girl like Victoria can do something like that and yet he almost got killed by the same little girl with an arrow. "Wow Victoria you are nothing like I expected for girl your age and size." Victoria not wondering if that was an insult or compliment just replied. " Thank you and I'm really sorry with almost hitting you with the arrow." Just as she finished her sentence a large twig snapped a few feet away from where they were.
