Lila's P.O.V

Its summer and what other way can you celebrate then by doing summer sualts into a pool and making smoothies! I love to make strawberry and banana smoothies. my mom likes my celery and carrot smoothie the most, though.

I was just getting out of our pool when i heard my mom on the phone, i was right behind the kitchen window. I listened closely.

"yes, Bill......i know....i know its been 11 years, but she's.....yes...mhm....i guess......how is she?....ok....bye.." I heard my mom say. I heard her put down the phone and, suprisingly, started crying!

I ran inside to find mom red and teary eyed before the kitchen sink.

"mom! whats wrong?!?" I said, very concerned.

"oh, Lila! nothing! nothing....im fine. i was just wondering if you could run down by the 7 eleven and buy some eggs," mom said casually.

"ummm...sure! ok, mom!" I said, grabbing a 5 dollar bill from my mom and walking outside.

Lily's P.O.V

I was blending a smoothie when suddenly i heard my dad on the phone in the living room. he sounded stressed.

"Hello, Katy......you know its been a long time since......how long....well, i think its time......today would work.....how about the 7 eleven......shes doing great....see you.....bye," he hung up and sighed.

"dad? whats wrong? you look sad." I asked him

"oh hi, Lily....im ok. can you run down to the 7 eleven to get some milk, please?" dad asked.

"ya...ok...sure!"I grabbed the 10 dollar bill from my dad and walked outside.
