After they got home and out all the groceries away Liam gave airy the laptop to look up things about the plant he got. Texty was reluctant to let airy use the laptop but eventually agreed. Bryce sat down On his bed and started to text Hattie the two of them agreed to meet up tomorrow. Bryce gave her his address and told Liam about it, airy overheard their conversation

Airy: who's that ?

Bryce: she's my cousin

Airy: she's coming here ?

Bryce: could you NOT listen to our conversation ?

Airy: sorry. I just heard you guys talking.

Bryce: just don't weird her out when she comes over, ok ?

Airy: ok.

Liam: it'll be nice to meet some of your family

Bryce: yeah, it'll be nice to see what Hattie's been up to

Bryce was up talking to Liam, airy was on the computer again looking up more plant related things. There was a knock at the door, Bryce opened it

Bryce: Hattie !

Hattie: hey Bryce !

Hattie walked inside, Liam walked over

Bryce: Hattie, this is my roommate, and boyfriend ... Liam

Liam: hello

Hatty: hi Liam, I'm Hattie

Liam: a hat names Hattie ? That's a little ironic, huh ?

Hattie: hey, you can thank my mom for that

The three of them talked for a while discussing things and just catching up with each other. Airy was too invested in the computer to pay attention to anything happening behind him

Hattie: by the way who's that ?

She pointed at airy

Bryce: oh, him. Long story short he's TEMPORARILY living here until he can move out on his own

Liam: he's not mentally there right now, he's been through ... A very traumatic experience. Sorry if he comes off a little, um, weird ?

Liam tapped airy's shoulder

Liam: hey airy this is Bryce's cousin Hattie, Hattie this is airy

Airy turned around and look at her

Hattie: airy ..? Why does that ...

Airy: hi hatty

Hattie look up at airy and just froze. She had a very confused look on her face

Bryce: are you ok ?

Liam and Bryce looked at each other and then back at hattie

Hattie looked over at Bryce

Hattie: is there anything I could tell you that would make you think I'm crazy ?

Bryce: I think we should go sit down.

Hattie: I was just minding my own business then. I was just- somewhere else. I don't know where I was. Just in this grassy field area and the sun never set. It was ... Weird. And the only person there was this disconnected voice that seemed to come out of nowhere, called himself airy. I was there for about a week, then I just ... Was back home.
