after waking up

you smelled pancakes

maybe scara cooked for a change

you were about to step out the door

but then noticed

a specific balladeer holding onto you

guess it wasn't him cooking..

you forced scaramouche's hands off you

and headed down stairs to the kitchen

it seemed Venti was cooking breakfast

Y/N: "Whatcha cookin' there Venti?"

the smell was enticing 

you couldn't help but get hungry first thing 

Venti: "I'm making something called Barabatos Ratatouille"

Venti: "Or what I call it A Buoyant Breeze!!"

he set a bowl down 

you dug in

it tasted so good..

you needed seconds

he gladly made more for both you and scaramouche

Y/N: "So good.."

Venti: "Glad ya like it! You can taste the flavor of a wind that brings hope and tiny twists of faith."

you recognized that line from his signature dish description

I guess you really do just make this out of regular ingredients

Y/N: "Hey Venti.."

Venti: "That's me!"

Y/N: "How come you're not that surprised in this whole situation?"

Venti: "I guess you can kind of say it's sorta true and sorta not!"

the moment you were about to open your mouth to question him more

Scara came downstairs shivering

Scara: "You left me."

Scara: "Now I'm cold."

Venti: "Here, eat some! It'll warm you up"

Scara: "Don't need it"

Y/N: "Alright then don't mind if I do..!"

you took his bowl and grabbed a spoonful of the stew

but Scara's hand reached over and forced your hand

to move the spoon right into his mouth

Scara: "I never said you can eat it"

who was he to boss you around?

although.. this technically meant I fed him

it's not so bad to be bossed around.!

I started noticing that the more the weeks past..

the comfortable he got with me

that whole egoistic "I'M ABOVE YOU" ego

cringes him sometimes the moment I mention it

which is sorta good!

It's not like all of that ego is gone though

but the more I think the more that time pasts-
