i turn off my phone when i see paxton walk out of starbucks with my drink he opens the door and gives me my drink

just then i saw a look of guilt on his face and i don't know why because i know i shouldn't have but i felt bad. no i shouldn't he just insulted my sister

we sit in silence for a minute so i just slurp my drink

"hey do you wanna hang out tomorrow i can go funiture shopping with you? devi told me by the way she cannot get over that"

"pick us up at 1" i say with a smile as i close the door

and walk into my house i run up the stairs to tell devi the good news
