7 Year Gap

They're leaving

Lucy's POV:

"W-what Cana I thought I was your partner?" I saw Cana at the doors of the guild hall ready to leave with one of the newest members of the guild
"Y-yeah sorry Lucy it's just that I don't think me and you would work well together! That's all" she said that as she itched the back of her head clearly nervous.

That's a lie. I know she doesn't want me to be her partner because I'm too weak..
my tears started forming in my eyes I looked at the floor making sure she didn't see me crying, god I'm so weak no wonder she switched partners
"LUCCCEEE!" Natsu ran up to me along with happy, god will I miss them I know it'll only be a week but I can't help it
"Luce we're gonna miss you"
"Aye.." happy and natsu said obviously in a down mood.
"Guys it's only for a week when you come back I'll have a whole BUNCH of your favorite foods waiting for you" I said as I wiped my tears and gave them a huge smile
"Luce.." natsu saw my tears but said nothing he just hugged me.
I jumped at the sudden hug but leaned into it inhaling his scent that I won't be smelling for awhile
"They're in loooovve~~"
"SHUT IT CAT!" I bonked happy but then pulled him into the hug. Giving them both one big squeeze I let them go
"See ya Luce!"
"AYE!"
I giggled as I watched them walk off to the guild hall doors
"Alright everyone we will see you in a week with are newest S class member" makarov said slowly getting ready to leave
The members who weren't going all said goodbye, but I just watched getting this weird feeling that they won't be back for awhile but I just brushed it off.
"BYE MINNNAA!" I yelled loud enough for all of them to hear
Soon after the guild hall was quiet.. too quiet for my liking.
"I'll be going guys! I'm kinda tired" they guild members all said bye to me as I left heading back to my apartment,

"Open gate of the Canis Minor! Nicola!" With a little light a small white celestial spirit plopped into my arms
"Hello plue how are you?"
"Pun pun!"
I let out a big sigh thinking about all the events that just took place
"Pun pun?" Plue looked up at me with a worried face
"Ah it's nothing really plue, it's just that Cana decided to take a different partner instead of me.."
"Pun pun.." Pun looked up at me I could see he felt bad about what I just said.
"Thank you for worrying plue but I'll be alright! I mean I can understand why she chose a different partner, she's so strong and beautiful while I'm just a huge weight that weighs everyone down if I tag along."
"Pun puun" plue shook his head obviously disagreeing with what I just said
"Maybe I should train while they're away, then I won't be such a burden for everyone"
After a few more minutes of walking I finally made it to my apartment.
"Alright plue you can leave now" he looked at me with a worried face but soon left back to the spirit world.

I walked up to my apartment unlocking the door then walking in feeling the emptiness that natsu and happy usually fill
Another big sigh left my mouth
"I'm too tired to shower.." I went over to my bed and flopped on the mattress letting
Sleep overcome me

Yeah so I decided to start another story. And I don't know how I feel about it but I just hope it satisfies others needs as much as I hope it will mine
