Bennett finds a gun

* Part 1 *

The sun is rising in Mondstadt. It's beginning to get bright and Bennett wakes up. He sits up and stares out of his window for a few minutes, not only watching the sun set but also thinking of what adventure he would go on today, if any. Discovering something new sounds like a good plan! Though he would have to travel far out, maybe to Liyue, to find something he hasn't found already.
Bennett has already asked to go as far as Qiongji Estuary before but his dads said it's too dangerous and none of his friends or allies could be bothered to walk that distance, he understood since it's at least a good thousand meter walk. Still a shame though. He thought Master Diluc would be cheeky and go with him, but no. Bennett also had high hopes asking Kaeya, sadly it was a very prominent no.
Now that Bennett thinks about it, nobody would go with him on this exploration. That sucks. He'd have to make his own way out there. Now, how is Bennett going to sneak out... Hang on! What is the time? Three in the morning, coming round to four, huh. The sun is very clearly rising earlier than usual. That must be a sign! Oh wow, this is going to be the most amazing expedition ever!!
He pulls out a crappy drawing of the guild building and a pencil from under his bed. Bennett was on the second floor, that's where his room is, but the thing is he is the farthest away from the stairs. He traces over the map with the pencil and adds some annotations. His footsteps would be too loud, not to mention the creaky floorboards. He shades in roughly where those faulty floorboards are at. Maybe he has to distract everyone, that way he can make his escape without anyone noticing him, they would be too distracted! Haha! Bennett giggles to himself, he finds much pleasure in planning adventures, let alone small ones like such. He counts them as mini-heists and has been to scared to do it, he only is trying this time because Bennett has his heart set on this mission to Liyue. He's already got a whole notebook full of different methods on how to accomplish that.
He could set the stairs alight, then slip away into the room at the other end of the hallway and get out through the window there. That window actually opens and is big enough for Bennett to get through. Alright. He will pretend to go to the bathroom, at least thats what he'll say if someone realises that he's out of his room, then he'll use his Pyro vision to burn it up. As long as nobody catches onto his plan, it shouldn't fail and he shouldn't get into any trouble. Bennett stows the map and pencil back under the bed and hops off it.
Agh, that was too fast... Bennett holds his forehead in his hand. Head rush is too painful sometimes, he gets the worst headaches.
Bennet shakes it off after a short moment and opens the door quickly. He has learnt that the faster you open the door, the less creaking or door noises you get. The door is quickly and quietly shut behind Bennet as he hastily tiptoes to the stairs.
Now, you may be thinking he could just go down the stairs and get out that way but no. The scheming took a good ten minutes, so it's four now and that's when Katheryne starts to stir. She's on the bottom floor so it's impossible without getting caught.
Bennett raises his hand and summons his sword. He lets his Pyro take control of his hand and the sword gets slammed down onto the banister. The sword being engulfed in flames and the stairs being made entirely out of wood, the sword sliced right through and set it on fire, as expected. The hit made a deafening bang noise though. He lets go of his sword and heads to the destined room before he gets found. That smack must have woken up everyone here and he didn't want to burn with the building, if that was possible anyways.
This is the storage room, although it's much cleaner than last time he was in here. Bennett climbs onto a desk and opens the window, before looking through the opened door and at the fire that was practically waving the boy bye. He rushed over to slam the door before slipping out of the window. The crackling of the fire could be heard from even down here, this must be bad...
He felt nothing but guilt for a second before deciding to listen in to the dialogue in the building.
"WHY IS THE PLACE ON FIRE?"
"WHO DID THIS?"
"I HEARD A EXPLOSION, IT COULD HAVE BEEN OUTRIDER AMBER!"
"Halt, don't go anywhere." Bennett recognizes that voice, it's Katheryne's voice. She usually has a calm nature.
"JUST BECAUSE THE OUTRIDER HAS A PYRO VISION DOESN'T MEAN SHE WOULD DO THIS. JUST BECAUSE... BARON BUNNY OR WHATEVER ITS NAME IS CAN EXPLODE IT DOES NOT DETERMINE THAT SHE DID THIS!"
"Calm down, lads. I've called that traveller here, she can extinguish it. Just.. Get Bennett and evacuate! NOW!"  Katheryne again, but.. He's going to be busted! He didn't think about this part...
"HOW DO WE GET OUT IF THE STAIRCASE IS ON FIRE."
"Look.. You can go down here. The other side of it. Now, get the kid quickly and go, please!"
Oh shit... What does he do now? His brain tells him to run but his heart wants him to keep listening in. I guess he has some time left because he keeps listening.
He heard the opening of a door, presumably his, and then whoever went to go get him screamed.
"AAAH! HE'S NOT HERE!"
"OH, FOR BARBATOS' SAKE... WHERE IS THE DAMN CHILD AT THEN?" He's beginning to think that Katheryne hates him.
"BENNETT ISN'T THERE?
"GET LISA OR JEAN OR.. KAEYA... OR DILUC? OR MAYBE THAT RAZOR LAD?"
"Go find Bennett, everyone. I'll stay here and wait for.. Lumine's her name, right? Okay, I'll wait for Lumine. Get out before the fire spreads too much."
The next things were inaudible. Bennett feels a wave of fear but he pushes it deep down and legs it in the direction of the Cathedral. Now, Fischl is a mischievous one, she might want to come. Where could she be?
