Sidharth climbed down 10 floors via stairs as fast he could. He just couldn't imagine Shehnaaz lying in pool of blood. The thought itself gave him jitters.

A drunken guy from the society lost control and hit his car to the building park gate. Shehnaaz was just coming out of the park when she was smashed by the car.

Her body was still lying there. Sidharth picked her up in bridal style and reached the nearest hospital at the earliest. Shehnaaz's had fractured her legs and was unconscious due to shock.
Sidharth was pacing to and fro the hospital room until she regained conscious.
Sidharth she spoke feebly...

Sidharth: yes baby, I am there.

Shehnaaz could see his care, his tension the way he was following up with doctors. Irrespective of asking him so many times he couldn't mustered the strength to fall asleep. He was right at her side whole night wide awake holding her hands.

Next day Sidharth had an important meeting with the CEO. Shehnaaz asked him to go for the meeting. "I will be fine, the nurses are here to take care".
"Hmm", Sidharth picked his phone and dialed the CEO. "Sir, Shehnaaz has ran into accident I won't be able to make it to the meeting, I apologize".

He strides slowly towards Shehnaaz, pulled the  chair, intertwined his hand to hers looked directly into her eyes, "Nothing is ever important than you. You are my life my everything. I might have been a jerk all this while but if anything ever happens to you I will die."
Tears rolled from their eyes, they wiped away each other tears , smiled ear to ear and hugged each other.

News of Shehnaaz accident spread in their office. All their collègues started paying visit to her. She was overwhelmed with their care. Shlok hadn't contacted her since the Town House. And it was surprising with his big claims of not leaving her yet he didn't paid a visit to her. Was she missing him , no off course not. But she was nonetheless surprised by his detachment.

Today was her discharge day. She was advised rest for a month. Her cubicle collègue Mitali came to visit her giving all the happenings Shehnaaz has been missing in the office. They chatted for quite sometime. Mitali left Shehnaaz private room to find Shlok outside.
Mitali: Hey, what's up aren't you going to meet her.
Shlok: yes I will!
Mitali said her byes and went.

Shlok looked back at Shehnaaz through the glass door. He heaved a sigh mouthed , "Take care PG, keep smiling and live a great life.. Love you" and turned back to go.

Sidharth was observing him from far. He came inside the room to find Shenaaz packing things.
He turned her, kept his hands on her shoulder and asked , "Shehnaaz do you love me?"

A warm smile spread across Shehnaaz's face. She put her head on his chest, kissed there and replied "Always and forever"...

Sidharth beamed with a triumph smile, "Let's go home."

Shehnaaz was at home finally.
