Persistence

It seemed like every day was the same experience in the morning. Wake up, get ready, and go to school. It was so persistent. Today, however, Jungkook is walking me to school because Ashton is out of town for the next three days, and of course, my mom has work in the morning and pretty much all day until midnight. 

I walked out of the door to greet Jk, who was already waiting for me outside. 

"Hey Y/N, ready for school?"

"Honestly, no, but let's go anyway," I said not very confidently.

Me and Jungkook used to walk each other to and from school all the time during middle school and some parts of freshmen year. But ever since my brother got his license my mom wanted me to ride with him. I tried to get Jungkook to come with us but he didn't want to ruin anything, not that he was. I am just glad Jungkook is always there when I need him to be. 

We made it to school, finally, and got to class. To my surprise, Yoongi was already there. In fact, he was the only one there and had all of his stuff out already. I was shocked, maybe I should give him more credit than I do.

"Hey, Y/N, is it?" He said.

I looked over to see Yoongi's slight smile. 

"Uh, yeah, it is," I said curiously.

"I don't mean to be weird or anything, but are you riding the bus today?"

Why would he ask me that? For whatever reason, I answered him honestly.

"Yeah, I am. Why?"

"Oh, I was just wondering, you know, since you weren't there yesterday. Some dude was in your seat." He said and went back to his notebook.

Huh? Some dude in my seat must mean Jin. Does that mean me and Jin are going to be sitting together again today... I hope not. Anyway, why is Yoongi so curious? It's not like it matters. This morning is already getting weird, and I am not liking it.

The class had officially started and both Jungkook and Yoongi were taking notes, while I was still stuck on Jin, and why Yoongi was so invested in what I was doing. Yoongi nudged my shoulder suddenly, and I snapped back into reality.

"Do you have a pencil? Mine just broke." He said.

"Do you ever bring a pencil to class...?" I said, getting a pencil from my bag.

"Nope, that's why you're here right?" 

I stopped, does he really rely on me for pencils...? The audacity of this boy pushes me further and further every day.

"It's like you ask every day, and it is annoying so stop," I said as I passed him a pencil. "And instead of giving it back to me, just keep it."

"Jeez, who pushed your buttons this morning?" He said as he went back to taking notes.

Soon it was second period, one of my favorites because J-Hope was there. J-Hope is always very fun and cool to be around, he makes class a lot better. We joked around and helped each other with some assignments most of the time, but there was one more thing I had to do before the end of class.

"Hey J-Hope, do you hang out with anyone normally?" I said.

"Huh? Do I? Oh, no I don't. Don't worry! I'm not lonely! I have you." He said with a smile.

It made me glad to hear that.

"You should join my friend group, you may know some of them since they are in the singing/dancing arts program (SDAP) with you."

"Hm? Who are they?" He asked.

"Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin." His eyes widened when I said those words.
