Haunted Love

Chapter 2

The doctor came out having a face of a disappointed and confused expression and said "This is a case of insanity. It's due to a sudden shock. This disease is very rare. Till now, only two ladies had this type of case and he's the third one. What has happened in the car, please tell me detailed to understand it."

Adua felt scared if the same thing happens to her as the driver if she says it. But John didn't get scared and started off. He told the whole story.

"He said the first two days, he didn't come out and give the news. Then he started slowing down by But... But... and then he fainted." John was surprised to see that the doctor looked scared too.

"He'll be admitted in this hospital for many days. We can take care of him, but you don't visit him. Please. Just don't make him see you and your family.", the doctor said begging John not to see him again. The doctor looked like he was about to pee in his pants. John laughed seeing them be such fools in getting scared of these types of things. 

John was even more concerned about how he'll go home. It's very far away from the hospital. He asked a lot of people to take them to that area but they refused. "I can't even step on that place", few said on the street outside feeling very scared. 

"It's impossible to go there now, it will take three weeks, a construction is happening there. Here you go, live in this hotel, you don't need to pay the money for the hotel. You can live in my hotel for three weeks till the work gets over near that area, then you can live there. I'm the house keeper there", said a man. He looked pleasant. He had blonde hair, fine glasses,and neatly dressed. But his eyes looked familiar to Adua. 

"Okay, thank you very much for your kind advice. Where is your hotel?", John asked in a pleasant smile. 

"come. I'll take you. He said taking his car out", he looked very funny to Jason. His was trying to control his laugh. 

The family sat down in the car. The car started moving. The driver was driving slow giving a continuous smile.  "So Jason, do you believe in God?", he asked. "Er- yes", Jason said in an obvious way. "Then you must be believing in ghosts right?'', the man asked. Eight year old Jason never thought about that. His friends talk about it but he didn't bother much about it. "I actually don't care about ghosts. My mom is scared of ghosts but me and my dad don't believe in them.", Jason said.  

"At least Adua is smart enough", he thought in his mind. Later on, they reached the hotel. It was written in bold outside the tall building 'grand star hotel'. They went inside. They booked one room for Jason and the next room for Adua and John. Jason really didn't want to sleep alone the first night in an unknown hotel but later on he got convinced. 

"So buddy, you like the hotel?", the man who got them asked. "Yes, it's so grand and big. What's your name by the way?", Jason asked trying to be friends with the man. Anyone would want to be friends with him as he is so friendly and nice. "I'm Damon. Bro what about a friendship deal?", Damon asked giving his hand. Jason shook hands accepting his friendship. But Damon seemed quite familiar to Adua but she couldn't remember how. His eyes reminded her of a very known man, but she couldn't remember who it was. That night, everyone had a fantastic sleep.
