17th of October 2066

72 hours.

Yoongi reached his home after 72 hours.

Gahyeon was a mess after she saw him. Even if San or Wooyoung was checking the house from time to time, assuring her he is okay on their way. She wouldn't rest until she saw him.

The city... changed.

The gray uniforms were visible everywhere. Interdependants that previously didn't belong to ISA, started to join them. Wanted to be led to fight with someone they considered a threat.

And the non-Interdependants, the so-called "normal" people... Yoongi understood them. Nobody wanted to be dragged away from house and be told to get the fuck out of the city... He understood. But it didn't mean he would let them kill interdependants. They weren't innocent angels... They started all of it a long time ago.

He felt... as nobody was innocent here. There was no one side to blame...

It took him 3 days to understand this.

When he and Chorong brought Dokhyun's body to her house, they met Taeil there. San and Wooyoung were trying to treat him. He had a bullet in his thigh.

Yoongi respectfully rested Dokhyun's body on the ground in the garage and covered it with a sheet. He made a place.

He was afraid... Soon there will be more bodies here...

He gulped and went to the kitchen. The floor was already covered in blood.

'We have to take you to the doctor!' Chorong insisted, when they were pressing a cloth to his wound.

'What doctor?' Taeil choked out through gritted teeth. 'How many interdependant doctors do you know?'

'Hospitals are closed or destroyed...' Wooyoung confirmed quietly.

'There is something more important...' Taeil said, still clenching his teeth. He put his hand into the pocket and had a hard time taking out what was there, because the fabric was already soaked with blood.

Finally in between his fingers a silver ring appeared.

'D-dad... gave me this, before they took him...' he whispered. 'I guess... he didn't want them to have it...'

Chorong and the rest were looking at the ring. It was Chorong's Sacred Treasure.

'So he is unarmed there...' she whispered and her gaze darkened.

'W-we have to... take him back...' Taeil whispered, closing his mother's fingers on the ring.

'We will.' She said coldly. 'But first we need to treat you.'

Yoongi looked around and then focused on his aunt.

'Okay... we don't have a choice,' he said. 'We have to take the bullet out before he will bleed out... And you can do it.'

'What?' Chorong looked at the bloody floor.

'You can control metal objects, right? You are unsealed. You can do it.'

'But he should have surgery! Do you expect me to...'

'Yes I expect you to do it!' Yoongi lost his cool. 'What do you think we will encounter in the next weeks, huh?!' she looked at him with widened eyes. 'One! Procent!! ONE!! That is how many of Interdependants live on this planet! The hospitals are just a beggining. Soon we won't have energy! Then food! How many things that are made or provided by non-Interdependants can you actually exchange with magic?! Stop ISA before they will kick out all people from here! Unless you want to live in the middle age!'
