Y/n (10) POV.
I slid down the slide to the daycare and went over to sunny I haven't been here in 4-5 days and I got a haircut with some streaks in my hair dyed "hey sunny!" I said smiling. He turned to me and smiled "wow! Y/n your hair looks amazing!" I smiled and looked down a little getting a slightly warm & fuzzy feeling inside my chest "thank you" I replied tucking some hair behind my ear "how has school been?"
"It's been fine ig I don't really like it though, oh your birthday is coming up isn't it?"
"Yeah but I usually don't celebrate it bc eventing I do is all for the kids and I don't need my birthday in the way of their fun"
"How old are you"
"I'll be turning 22 but enough about me wanna play some games while we wait for other kids to get here?" I smiled and nodded
"Yeah" later on kids started coming and I told a few of the kids that regularly come about sunny's birthday and we cam up with a plan for his birthday
-Time skip-
It was sun's birthday and the kids and I planned a surprise party for him. He left to go talk to a security guard outside of the door and told me to watch the other kids and I was the oldest one there. Once he was out we quickly started decorating and my parents brought cake, candles and some other snacks for everybody then after everything was done we turned off the lights and hid.
Sunny came in a quickly turned to moon drop and looked confused bc most of the kids were scared of him and "y/n if you're trying to scare the other kids again you're going in timeout." He said before turning on the lights then all the kids and I jumped out saying "surprise! Happy birthday sun & moon!" In unison. Sun looked surprised then smiled "Aw thank you all for this! You're all so sweet!" We all celebrated and once all the other kids were gone sun looked at me "you staying? Or waiting" I smiled and hugged him "I'm staying" he smiled and we played a little bit till moon deemed it time for bed telling sunny I needed a thing called sleep. I reluctantly went to after I was told but only bc it was their birthday and you're not allowed to say no to someone on their birthday.
